的確如此！學生求學位，學校亦求學生！為求增加好學生來源，自然要搵出唔同學制考試成績嘅比較準則。

其實都唔會話太蝕底，當然 GCSE 考得好的話會有輕微加分，不過影響不會太大。

就以 Oxford 為例，佢地收生主要係睇 admission tests 既成績與及 interview 既表現。有個 Mathematics and Computer Science 既 admission tutor 係 the student room 都有講過︰

"Contrary to the urban myth, we really don't put much weight on GCSE grades: the MAT and interviews are more important."

所以如果你 admission test 考得好，由學校提供的 DSE predicted grades 又無問題的話，就會有得 interview，然後就主要睇 interview 的表現。

謝謝！因為只是中四之後過英國，DSE predicted grades也沒有，睇嚟AL predicted grades 會係最重要，壓力 ...

相關科目既 AL predicted grades 最好要有 A*，例如報 Physics 或 Engineering ，Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics 三科最好至少要 predicted 有兩個 A*，唔係的話就可能要 admission test 考得超高分先會有 interview。

不過我覺得又唔好俾太大壓力小朋友，因為其實就算全 A* 的學生都未必一定入到 Oxbridge，有唔少都可能會衰 admission tests 或者衰 interview，係 the student room forum 都見到多不勝數的例子。所以我覺得心態上最好只係將 Oxbridge 當係 bonus，就算入唔到 Oxbridge 都仲有好多好好的大學選擇。

oxbridge interviews 出名 "push you to the limit"，佢地用意唔係考學生識唔識，而係想睇清楚了解遇到唔識時學生的反應，是否適合佢地既 tutorial/ supervision system，所以出到黎覺得好深唔識答係好正常的事，大家不必過於介懷。
