Info for 9A bus driver:

This case is not close to the title of this discussion.
He was not a loser at his job or 不堪一擊 in any way.
I think he switched to working in the office of the bus company after a while.
Not sure whether he left the bus company yet, but definitely no long working as a full time bus driver.

Although I do agree with what you said, I had something else in my mind when I wrote my last message.

I was thinking about my local domestic helper and what her daughter studied in university and her job now. My helper told me her daughter had good grades and did really well at university. Unfortunately she has to do the work she is doing now even if it is not what she likes. It was all because of the money she can earn in her present job.

Not everyone has the luxury to quit a professional job and go on being a bus driver. So sometimes when we comment on other people's choices, we have to be a little more understanding as well.
