It seems that there were not too many students going for today's interview. Anyone has idea about the numbers of interviewee. My child said the interview was a bit difficult when comparing to that of other schools. How do your child feel?

It's so strange. Every year the parents would discuss fervently about the questions being asked after the interview, however, this year zero response to this thread. Why ?

SPCC shortlisted students and seriously screen out students before the interview; Longer time and more in-depth conversations between the students and various teachers (at least 45m and some have more time); Shy but students with good intellectual abilities will have time to warm up and get opportunities to share personal intellectual experience. The interview questions seemed to be "difficult", especially science and general study part. Yet those having constant exposure to solid science and humanity principles will be ok. Learning science or general study by memorization to get high marks in school (as most of the primary school do) will be at risks.

My son felt that interview itself was interesting, but he was a bit shy and anxious when he was challenged by the teachers in science and general study part. From his answers to science questions, I think he was doing very well at his age as he can verbalize science principles with clear concepts, though he was anxious that he was not doing very well.

My son's classmate shared that the science question was very difficult. But very interesting, those rank around 16th-20th have been invited for interviews. Some within 10th was not offered the interview chance.

Those invited for interviews are mostly girls.

12月份見那些學生是學校推薦的，一月好似已收了27名，網站已登上了學生編號。自己報名的才是上星期日見。

sorry, too busy these days. Haven't seen EK recently. BTW, I will choose SPCC since I live HK side. If I live Kowloon, I will choose LS. But it is too far to me....SPCC school back up is good. It's DSE result very attractive....

小兒剛於去年考入，佢適應得幾好，覺得同小學差不多，功課不太多，仲要係攤長時間嚟做，做下少量work sheet同projiect咁，考驗下分析力和team work，小學個陣我會輔導佢功課，現在我已全部放手（唔放唔得，佢嫌我阻碇

），只係間中提佢按時交功課。成績叫OK，當然無小學個陣咁容易攞高分同名次，但因為一早有心理準備，所以適應良好。壓力梗有，咁多叻仔叻女係周圍，最緊要唔好頹，壓力變動力，就無有怕架勒。作為父母可以做的就是少啲責罵，多啲鼓勵。

Dear KKKK,

I have 'positive views" from LS and accepted by SPCC.

I am surprise and excited, as I previously thought that my child is not "all rounded". He is a bookworm, and LS will not show interest, I just take a risk, but the interview turn out to be a very positive experience.

I have dilemma as well to see if which one is a good match for him, location is not a consideration for me at this stage, but the "matching" of the school and the child. I am also waiting DBS's results.

Besides location, do you have any comments on your choice? If accepted or already accepted by DBS, what will be your considerations?

Same to you. At last, I made up my mind to choose SPCC because of "location problem". I really think it's a problem since it's very busy in secondary life and I don't want he spends too much time on traffic. Besides, I think SPCC is a very good school. It provides plenty chance for child to explore though he is just at the door to peek and not really get inside to taste. LS is good and in fact I like boys school more, the reputation both are not bad. So...difficult, but my son at last made up his mind---SPCC!!

Last year, pdf list of successful candidates was uploaded in school website and offer letters sent. No telephone.

我聽朋友講convent中一、二比較輕鬆，比時間慢慢成長。spcc压力較大，兩個主科不合格會被趕走。真的嗎？
