2013/2014年度直資中一入學申請須知

聖士提反書院於二零零八年九月加入直資計劃；本校將不受校網限制，自行取錄中一新生。

中一入學申請表派發日期：二零一二年十月二十二日開始
中一入學申請截止日期﹕  二零一二年十二月二十一日

1.  索取申請表格及其他資料﹕
  i.  郵寄A4回郵信封(貼上$8.2郵票) 至香港赤柱東頭灣道22號聖士提反書院校務處，信封面請註明「索取中一入學申請表」﹔或
ii.  親臨本校索取 (星期一至五：上午九時至下午五時；星期六：上午九時至下午一時)﹔或
iii. 從本校網站下載

2.  填妥申請表格，連同以下文件，於截止日期前，寄回或逕交香港赤柱東頭灣道22號聖士提反書院校務處：
  i.  回郵信封三個(各貼上$1.4郵票)
ii.  小四及小五成績表、課外活動、服務及其他特別才藝之文憑/證書、獎狀副本
iii.  香港身分證或出生證明書副本
iv.  以劃線支票繳付$50報名費，支票抬頭寫「聖士提反書院」

3.  收生條件
  在校成績優異、操行達B級(良或乙等)或以上。

4.  中一入學家長講座( 於校内舉行 )*﹕
  (a)  二零一二年十月二十日(下午二時至下午五時)
  (b)  二零一二年十一月十七日(下午二時至下午五時)


5.  二零一三/二零一四年度年中一學費為每年港幣五萬元* (分十期繳交)
  * 如學生並非香港永久居民，請致電本校查詢學費及詳情

6.  面試
  面試將以英語、廣東話及/或普通話進行，考生或需表現音樂、體育才藝。

中一入學申請評核準則比重
學業成績 50%
課外活動表現 10%
面試表現 35%
其他(例如﹕家長為校友/教職員；兄弟姐妹曾在/現在本校就讀) 5%

7.  申請結果將於二零一三年四月一日前公佈。

Application for DSS-S1 Places in Academic Year 2013-2014

1. Application Requirements
To satisfy the minimum requirements for entrance to the school, applicants shall have:
(1) Outstanding scholastic achievements (grade B (incl. B-/B+) or above in English, Chinese , Mathematics & General Knowledge); and
(2) Grade B or above in conduct in the second term in Primary Four as well as all terms in Primary Five.

2. Distribution of Application Forms
Application forms are available from November 1, 2012 (Monday) to December 15, 2012 (Saturday) and can be obtained in one of the following ways:
(1) In person – forms could be obtained from the College office or campus security post at the entrance gate of Ying Wa Street from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.
(2) On the school website – forms could be downloaded from http://www.yingwa.edu.hk.

3. No. of DSS-S1 Places Available: 50

4. Submission of Application Forms
(1) Please hand in the form in person to the College Office from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.
(2) Documents and materials to be submitted:
i. Completed S1 Application Form issued by Ying Wa College;
ii. Photocopy of the applicant’s I.D. Card;
iii. Photocopies of report cards (P4 – final term and P5 – all terms); and
iv. 2 long self-addressed (name and address of the applicant supplied) and stamped ($1.4) envelopes.

5. Application Fee: $50 (CASH ONLY)

6. Deadline for Application: December 15, 2012
Applications must reach the College Office before 12:00 noon on December 15.

7. Selection Criteria
All applicants meeting our minimum requirements will be invited for a first interview. Details of the interview will be sent to applicants by post.
The following will be taken into consideration when granting the second interview:
(1) Applicant’s internal assessment in primary school (scholastic performance and conduct)
(2) Rank Order provided by EDB
(3) Applicant’s performance in extra-curricular activities (academic and non-academic)
(4) Applicant’s performance in the first interview
Parents may be invited to accompany the applicants in the second interview. A list of the interviewees invited will be posted on the school website (http://www.yingwa.edu.hk) and details will be sent to the applicants individually before February 21, 2013.

8. Interview Dates
1st interview: January 26, 2013 ( and February 2, 2013 also if necessary.)
2nd interview: March 2, 2013

9. Release of Results
Successful candidates and candidates on the waiting list shall be notified by post in mid-March, 2013.

10. Registration
Successful applicants must register as instructed and parents have to sign an undertaking and offer their children’s P6 Student Record Form to the school.

11. Annual School Fee: HK$16,500 (by 10 instalments)

12. Grant and Scholarship
Financial assistance is available to needy students. Scholarship will be offered to students with outstanding performance in scholastic and/or other areas. Please see overleaf for details.

請問你知吾知沙田神託會培基書院收咩banding生, 我想問b2男生有機會嗎? 另外想問, 學校出左五年級下學期既全港排位及本區排位. 如果跨區搵直資, 係咪要睇番自己既全港排位而吾睇本區排位? 謝謝!

培基我都已經入表, 直資收生真係可以好空範, 好難用BANDING去衡量.

我上年問過培基校長, 佢話佢地直資收生有唔同既準則, 即使係B1但經過面試覺得唔適合都唔會收, 相反B2既面試整體表現良好, 亦會有機會.

上年聽幾間直資講座, 直資都有講學生來自B1B2居多, 可能B2既會夾住特異功能...

小學係唔應該表明小朋友既全港排名, 好似有EK MA講過小學其他係唔知學生全區排名, 最好以三份一計算自己屬邊個BANDING...

St. Paul's College for boys:

Title : Application for Admissions to Form One 2013-2014

The application period for Form One Admissions 2013-2014 will start from 3rd December, 2012 to 7thJanuary, 2013. Application Forms and Prospectuses can be:

(i) collected from the College Office during office hours,

(ii) requested by mail - by enclosing a stamped ( $8.20 ) and self-addressed envelope (size over 25 cm X 35 cm) or

(iii) downloaded from the College website

Please hand in the application form in person.

The “Meet the Principal” session will take place on Saturday, 8th December, 2012. Online registration will begin on 22nd November, 2012.
