我個仔2月in 完到依家都冇消息, 有冇人知係咪已經出哂offer 啦? 係咪到依家都未收信即係冇機會啦?

可以打電話給學校。我都覺得冇理由會冇聲冇氣架，如果係唔得都應該會出番封信比人！可能收生程序未完。

Those 80+ students not from DBSPD are from external 80-90 boys per year.
Most students are sound academically, plus sports and music and other ECA achievements. For excellent sports and music achievements, it means the top ranking in HK or internationally, may be more demanding than what most parents described here. Eg, a good friend of my son based on academic plus top 6 in Fencing in HK got into DBS, I don't say he got in through special talent, as his primary is EMI in Kowloon Tong and he was top10 in his school.....

Of course, 15-20 students per year are extremely talented in certain areas and not brilliant academically. I know some parents just focus on this 23% students and forget about the chance for our kids should be the 77%.

Purely academic without any outstanding ECA, the chance is slim (70 out of 1200 applicants). My son was the case, his achievements may be outstanding in most parents view, but in DBS just mediocre. He needed to sit for written exam...... he is still mediocre, just enjoys the school life and doesn't read EK about those non-DBS parents views .......
