我都好幸運收到spcs offer.
但係我都好想mcs,阿女話佢in 得好好 (我唔知), 我都有D心思思想等埋MCS放榜, 但要放棄spcs....
如何決擇???

my gal like spcs, as some師姐 are studied there.
MCS is not in my district. So no 師姐 study there.
Just the matter of parents... I think MCS is better. ( Maybe I am wrong.. don't know)
Any advice?

I'm living in KLN side and need to take MTR to SPCS but still, I will take offer first.
However, it's entirely my own opinion, you should discuss with your family members and your daughter.

seems .... not good.
and if we lost in "knocking MCS door" , will that mean we lost even the spcs school place?

SPCS係銅鑼灣，搭地鐵好方便，唔好諗咁多，攞左個offer先啦。第日就算去叩門都輕鬆冇壓力，話唔定可以成功架。
d運一黎，擋都擋唔住。睇你現在個頭像就係EK裡最sharp醒的一張了！

that's why suggested you to take offer from SPCS first then knock the door of MCS, if MCS unsuccess, it is not necessary to get back the student slip from SPCS.

We are admitted by SPCS too, but rejected by HYS.
Now thinking to register or wait for July EDB allotment
as not in HK side.

其實兩間差不多, 阿囡鍾情SPCS就由她選擇, 最後讀既係佢自己, 如果mcs 自行唔得, 跨區抽機會就會少d啦.

SPCS有igcse考, 多條出路. MCS只可以考DSE. I prefer SPCS if money is not an issue.

Sorry what is MCS stand for? Is it in Kowloon side? I think it is very important for your girl to go to school near to your home. For me, location is a primary concern. Of course, if the school is so good, then I will even move to suit to the school location.

對，係等到7月10日統一大抽獎放榜後才去MCS叩門。
你唔洗咁快去取回註冊証，先去MCS叩門，等MCS取錄你，你先去SPCS取回註冊証都未遲。
一日未有叩門學校正式確認取錄，你都唔好去SPCS get back 個註冊証，你咁做等如放棄SPCS的學位，到時真係兩頭唔到岸。

其實係咁....
1. 我有次search SPCS 資料，點知彈咗條link 係「高登」話咩「校服誘惑」，話全港最靚其一便是SPCS... so scared me, as the content of that topic was Grade III -IV. One of the "golden bro" said even you can search any of their student info online and then can go to wait outside the school and "get know " and "hanging out" with one. He has a few datings with some of the gals already.... 
I don't know if it was real or not, but really scare me!!!
2. I try to search SPCS online then, and really can see many of their students e-pofolios... with personal info, address, some has tel, birthdays, and some have photos! ( just last Dec when I did research for secondary school applications). I was scared. and finally I email to EBD and told them this and ask them to take a concern etc.
Still I am worry about this...
2. I heard RTHK 2 Mak Sir 's programme before. I remember last Sept or Oct ( just a few months ago) , some F.2 SPCS gals ( they said they were), called in, and talk and talk with Mak Sir, wow, 9 gals stay together in one home for "studying" toghther... and the time was already after 11:00 late night. During the talk, Mak Sir also confirmed that they are real SPCS gals as he talked about the event he hold there and asked their opinions... etc.
I just wonder why the gals didn't need to go home so late night?
all these scenes make me worry....
Am i thinking too much????

其實係咁....
However, I do think there must be bad gals/boys in any schools irrespective of their banding. The matter is just whether they are the majority or minority.

我記得黃霑講過：會使不用家豪富，風流不用著衣多。真係要學壞，唔使係CWB。皇仁、BPS、SPCS全部都係果度，女拔重係佐敦添。

至於你講到校服誘惑就最好笑。你去旺角砵蘭街走一轉你就知，全部都寫住學生妹，邊度有咁多學生妹呀，咪又係上面落黎！佢地d所謂制服誘惑，有醫生，有護士，唔通醫生、護士走黎做呢d野咩。再講點解要揀SPCS套校服呢，第一，好有日本女仔feel，呢班人一定唔會揀旗袍，所以SPCC，HYS，英華、真光呢d全部冇行。第二，SPCS又係名校，一般人覺得名校d女仔係美貌與智慧並重嘛，有種高高在上感覺，好難追到手。既然係現實生活中咁難得到，唯有寄情於幻想。
另外，一班同學一齊讀書又比你無限上綱，又一定係壞咁。人地都重識得打去星空奇遇鐵達尼跟呀麥sir傾計，我覺得壞極有限！真係壞果d去晒搵阿sir啦。

呀 好鬼叻：你依家吾係二選一，我細女個師姐舊年top 1，SPCS收了但決定去等自行，結果以為入硬果間吾收，之後好徬徨地周圍叩門，雖然最後都叩倒間好野，但驚餐死嘅！

我現在只係想先註冊,後叩門.不過應該好難!
我左搭右搭，最終問咗2位師姐,佢地都話讀得好開心,係project-learning style, 所以好多時要傾到好夜,不能回家一起吃晚飯啊

舊年我都好似你咁心大心細，SPCC waiting list, 自行係庇理羅士，不過往年的情況唔敢唔註冊，到咗7月放榜去庇理羅士扣門，第二日就叫我地去註冊，果日問過讀緊庇理羅士同SPCS嘅家長和同學，都一致好評，因兩間都係好學校，最後問資深教育人士和校長意見：如果兩間都咁好，直資果間資源肯定好D (學生嘅培訓、自主度、師資)，在有得揀嘅情況下我揀咗SPCS, 囡囡讀得幾開心，而透過學校活動 (包括校內比賽)，見識高Form姐姐好smart，全不用老師帶領同指導，非常有領導才能，而我好欣賞學校重視學生口才訓練 (中英普)。至CWB嘅問題我也担心過，因為F.1就自己出去食飯，但so far無乜問題，而穿校服的她們好少流連商場，也鮮有穿著校服同男仔拍拖 (便服就不清楚)，都十分自律。以上純個人體會，希望幫到你啦！

深水埗咪仲驚？
但有間女校早年要暫借深水埗的校舍兩年，
咪一樣冇事，
而且係深水埗期間一樣大把人申請入學。
今年仲有間中西區的名女校又借這個校舍，更是一借借四年。

Don't think too much ! If your daughter will become worst, no matter where the school located at. It is not an issue !
Be a happy mum and enjoy the fruit you are holding now!

深水埗有些地方，出面成條街都係......
如果holanlac有女兒幾年前入左DGS，咁DGS搬到深水埗的兩年裡，holanlac可能會晚晚失眠。
除非有更好的offer在手，否則想不到有人會因為CWB而考慮放棄SPCS。
放鬆D啦，香港人！收到offer，應該放下心頭大石，諗吓點樣同囡囡慶祝。

以一個過氣師姐身份來說: CWB真係好多街行, 但好少會穿校服去行街, 因為那時候老師教我地要尊重套校服. 另一方面, 因為學校附近的餐廳都貴, 所以LUNCH FEE都幾貴架. 我估食LUNCH就會同其他區的學校唔同.

I would like to know if there is any lunch provider avaible in school? How about any students bring their own luchboxes and eat in the school?
