,現在唯一希望是聖類斯了,唔知聖類斯難不難入呢?

Never give up, please try again in July. Someone will release the place even registered.

I knew a friend whose son applied again and accepted finally in August last year.

I know but the chance to obtain a place of St Paul is higher than lucky draw. It is around 25 percent to get the offer.

Don't worry. St Louis is not difficult to get in. A lot on the WL got accepted in the end as there will be lots of people withdrawing in the last moment.

St Paul's letter mentioned that my son's application has already put on the waiting list and my son will be contacted immediately if a vacancy exists.
Anyone know if all students do not receive a place at this stage will automatically be put on the waiting list for consideration? Or they have shortlisted some students for the waiting list?
Anybody knows what is the registration date?

Dear All,

My son got an offer from SPC (deadline 30 Mar, 2012) but I have a delimma between SPC and Kwoloon Wah Yan (wait until July 2012). Should I take SPC and forget WKY " Government central place allocation". Or wait for WKY until July 2012, which means I have to give up SPC. For details, please see "中學交流 SPC page".

If I were you, I would take the offer of SPC at this stage. Then, 'knock the door' of Kowloon Wah Yan College in July. Personally I think both schools are said to be in 'decline' in the sense. although both are famous schools. But I still prefer SPC to Kowloon Wah Yan College. It is because SPC is in control of the whole school admission and those SPC primary boys (under the DS scheme) have been promoted to SPC (since the school year of 2010). I am sure SPC will soon be better off.

Anyone knows how many S1 places are offered by SPC this year? Any chance to knock SPC's door in July if ther outcome is no good.

My son got an offer from SPC with musician scholarship for 1/4 school fee and from another DSS Fukien School. Any comment to these 2 schools, thanks.

May I know what is the banding of SPC now?  Seems that from 2010 banding list, it is only Band 1C.  From 2007/08 list, its ranking was higher.  Any recent listing please?

My son also got an offer.  I am in a dilemma to choose SPC or wait for the central place allocation.  I've chosen Cheung Chuk Shan College and
香港中國婦女會中學 Hong Kong Chinese Women's Club College as my 1st two choices.  Both of these schools are of Band 1A.

Any advice pleas, thanks in advance.

1st choice: Cheung Shuk Shan College
2nd choice : St. Paul's College
3rd choice : the other one Chinese Women .....
The reasons are obvious. CSSC : 3-5 to HKU medical school every year. St. Paul's College traditional famous college with tonns of graduates successful in every field. Decision is not a difficult one at all.

我都係上個星期六收到信, 係收左呀仔, 我以為佢篩左好多先有interview, 會全部收晒, 原來唔係, anyway 寄望在明天, 仲有大抽獎, 唔好氣餒

仲有補充, 樓主唔使擔心, 聖類斯唔難入, 校長話, 你小朋友係 band 2 頭成績都收, 而且聖類斯係一間校風幾好既學校, 同埋d老師好有heart

Thanks Martie. CCSC is a school with good academic results, for me getting into it really is sheer luck from the central place allocation. I think SPC and 中國婦女會are more suitable for my son. A lot of people, including myself, has bias against Chinese Women's school name

, but it is really a good school, passionate and gradully doing very good in public exams. SPC focus on all round development, I'm sure he will have fun and good learning experiences. Just worry that it's too "hea" and not focus enough on academic and its recent banding dropped a lot.

My son has been rejected/put waiting list too, if anyone received call from SPC, please post! Actually, my son just an AB grade(Band1-2) student in western district, SPC may not suitable to him!
