Does DGS send out letters in differernt groups?
ex. accept first, waiting later, reject last?

My daughter said Ms.Lau writes down which school accepts you.

If you have your letter on hand and"luck" it without open the envelop, the thin and light one means'Reject' letter. The think and heavy one is "Offer" letter.

Maybe DGS will issue the next batch of offer letters after registrations/decline. By then, they can issue offer/reject/waiting in one go.

Come on, DGS is not the only school, if you have faith in your daughter, she will be good wherever she is going to study. The future is in your hand not the school.

Recieved letter today asking us to confirm to be put on wait list by 28 Mar.

HYS offered a place yesterday evening and we need to confirm by Monday.

Have to scratch our heads in next 48hrs.

Our daughter is a small girl and have no special talent in sports, though she enjoys rope skipping.

Besides HYS we have also received offer from SPCS this morning by phone. We have accepted SPCS offer as this is our daugther's own decision.

沒有人可以答你。因絕大部分學校都不會說她是因甚麼原因給予offer.

但若小朋友在其他技能上不是太出眾的, 可以收到OFFER的都應是成績.. 對不對?
相返, 就可能是因為其他技能上而收到OFFER. 這樣想法是否正確嗎?

DGS唔知多唔多後補位就真。後補應該要等第28號註冊完之後才有。

我今天才致電詢問過，校方問我女兒的號碼、學校名，姓名，以及我的聯絡電話。她話他們分批寄出，如月尾還未收到，我也可以致電，他們會致電來。

係呀。因為得番一個月就要上名架la，扣埋假期日子真係唔多。如果重有第二批的話，又要預番d時間通知和比後備註冊，好緊迫下。

Don't worry. According to last year experience, the first round offer letter is for academic. The second round offer letter (ie selected from waiting list) will send before the placement test. The second round offer letter is normally for sports or music talent.

根據上年經驗, 第一round 全部係學術超勁, 正選入, 絕大部份是幾間名小學全級頭幾名. 但其實宣家仲hold 住好多位, 係比d 特異功能, 多數係學界有獎, 好果唔係 dgs 喺學界邊會攞咁多獎, 大部份會在分班試前收信. 不過我知道有人6月仲收到offer, 不過都係憑特異功能入. 老實講, dgjs 升上來的運動不是超勁, 所以需要好多外來生, 但音樂就真係好勁, 演奏級大有人在.

Just sharing.

my gal 's school this year got one gal get DGS offer right now.
She is about in no.10 in academic. and NO speech, no music, not head prefect/monitress, only school team of gymnastic without district award.

So I think maybe she got very good performance in 2nd in

BTW, another gal got SPCC offer, she in out of no.10 in academic, no sport, no music, only is head prefect, then BINGO.

ours is only chinese primary school

突然間諗起一樣野, 其實係唔係除左有offer的信之外, 其他全部信都係話place her on reserve list. ga?
因為之前有EK家長話, 無得1st in. 同2nd in. 的家長所收的信都係reserve list. 定係有唔同寫法的信呢?
(eg.place her on waisting list ), 有無家長可以分享下?

No. I returned it by hand. I don't think they will call us to acknowledge receipt of reply slip.
