Total 231 places - 120 (for primary section) - 24 (school nominations) = 87 places for 450 boys / girls interviewed, so the chance is less than 20%. More realistically, an offer will go to top 87 boys/girls who are in the top 20 percentile, i.e. out performing and winning over 360 contestants, who are shorlisted ones and not "anyones" from the pool of applicants. So, the chance is extremelllllllyyyyyy slimmmmmmm..... This is my personal view on my kid only. Not intended to cast on any other applicants.

據我所知, SPCC 係睇全港排名而取決有無得interview, 排名去到10幾既話通常無得interview. 除非考生以Young talents apply 除外.
我囡學校都係得幾個人有得interview, 其中一位係 outstanding student which has been admitted by 1st round.

因為 你無計學校提名（助學） 的位 ，這些位是3月12日才公佈. 而且是優先處理的。還有，SPCC 還收了一些學校提名(全級第一) 但沒有獎學金的。這兩批學位 我們是不知有多少。如假設這兩批學位有10個，那general admission 的命中率只會有 77／450 = 17% 。但是 如果落在waiting list 上會是會有機會的，因為，有一些收了SPCC offer 而dgs 也收的，一定要放棄其中一間，那waiting 的女仔便可補上。

當正式收生後, spcc好似會有張後備表, 當註冊日期完, 會即刻開始call後備學生........識人5月call佢, 而且可以係派位公布當日先決定讀唔讀(當日正午前)
唔好灰心/傷心, 或有驚喜!

My kid is a boy and I can't imagine if he is being accepted by SPCC & DBS

In addition, my elder daughter was admitted by SPCC few years ago via general admission. She told me that some of her classmates was admitted from the waiting list but not many. Also one of my 侄兒 few years ago F.2 考插斑入 so there is always a chance. Good luck!

You will never know the ranking of your kid but the secondary school will know. If your kid is top 10 student from P5-6, you have a big chance be admitted by SPCC.

According to FAQ on F.1 Admission of SPCC website http://www.spcc.edu.hk/assets/i/admission/201110/FAQs.pdf ,
it states that :
Q28. 學校提名 (助學 /獎學 )計劃共有多少名額？
> 共佔總學額百分之十(約 23名 )。每個計劃所佔比例視乎申請人數多寡及質素而定。如申請學校提名（助學／獎學）計劃不成功，仍會併入一般申請考慮。
Therefore, both 學校提名（助學／獎學）計劃 applicants, can have two chances (first round and second round with General Admission ) to be accepted by SPCC,

And now for 1st round addmission, it is 24 place for 學校提名 (獎學 ) & 才藝獎勵計劃 . Therefore, it will be some S1 place assigned on 學校提名 (助學 )計劃 , and those S1 Places are not considered with General Admission together, as per my understanding on SPCC information.

I don't think they has changed the policy, as the FAQ is the updated information shown on their website. They release the result of 學校提名 (助學 )計劃 on 12 March, doesn't mean they will consider those place with General Admission together.
If they change the policy, they should have revise the FAQ.

As per experience of other parent ( got offer on first round school nomintation ), SPCC sent out the letter on Friday, and they received letter on Saturday. Therefore, we should receive the letter on 10 March, Saturday .

睇囡囡想讀邊間，我們尊重她的意見，大個女啦，無論選得對與錯，要學會對自己的選擇負。而且如果逆意而行，盞讀得唔開心，影響成績。

話時話而家又真係唔會用貴族呢兩個字，會用Benz一族、凌志一族、半山一族、優皮一族等等去代替，更加突出自己係族係那一個範疇。最攪野就莫過於天橋底一族，我最驚阿仔做就更係追星一族喇。

未轉直資前SPCC需要收好多同區嘅學生，有錢人比例當然會較高，依家轉左直資（包括小學部），學生來自全香港九龍新界，主要收啲成績好，操行又好嘅，有錢人比例自然會降低•••••至於 sponsorship 就一定無人知，但邊個攞 scholarship 就實估倒，因為來來去去都係果堆人攞！

識人在spcc primary讀，說1)有同学開birthday party
時的餘興節目是SPA
2)父母拒絕讓子女到USA參加Choir，父母被校方疲勞轟炸為何不參加，結果父母不勝其煩改變决定.......
我好驚這些惡習會出現在中学
另外，報料者(P.5)已联同幾个同學報了(巳交留位費)英国的学校，F.1後離港，他說很多同學都係咁, 即是F.2會有好多位剩出來，報F.1 fail , 唔緊要, F.2再來。
P.S. 英国的學校:1)要父母+applicant飛去英国 in， 2)學校畢業生多升讀牛津、劍橋.................真係好富貴！

Umm,,,, SPCC might want to keep some protential applicants for further admission. They have tested and have record about the interviewed candidates. They get SPCC min requirements as least. So it would be far more better than admitting new applicants when vacancies are available. Please me it is not logic. Thanks.

照你咁講，應該吾係個個都收到呢封信，有部份會收到正式reject letter，呢道有無人收到吾同款嘅reject letter。定係只係例行工事，個個都一樣。

你多慮了. 聽小朋友(高中)講有同學現仍用價值百幾蚊咩功能都無既手機
無人會取笑,仲會配服定力.
我小朋友的書包由中一到高中都不曾更換,談不上是甚麼名牌.(百貨公司2xx貨色) 叫換都不肯,因未爛
提議你在午飯/放學時間去觀察下,你會充份感受到那份純樸. 當然有個別同學會很追上潮流
到高中就更加,他們不會認為有甚麼好比較? 不如多多交流所學到知識.

F1 F2 我只係比個普通電話個女用，亦只給2G的plan。F3才給她一部二手的smart phone，F4之後才有新的smart phone及3G。
衣著方面普通smart casual便可，無乜同學仔周身名牌，呢班友仔仲識去幫襯淘寶網，隨著佢地既長大，你好難吾比佢地扮下靚，但係佢地識得調節，吾駛擔心咁多。
興趣方面都係普普通通，行街睇戲食飯，品味就西化d，都係聽鬼佬哥，睇西片多•••••
