Don't quite understand the logic behind. What's wrong with listing the results of the individual grades? Trust this is the practice of many schools and it serves as recognition for those grades/students with good results.

I agree with your point.
You know what, not all parents understand all-rounded school vs academic schools.
DBS also listed out all their students other achievements (Academic, Sports, Music, others....), even not impressive in some areas.

We encourage kids to play sports and games, specifically team sports, it's the best training to learn from lost, adjust and bounce back.

(Just my personal comments)
I believe a school is to provide education, and education involves much more then just academic. I learned a great deal of things in school days and was fortunate to have these experience to compete in different kind of competitions to learn about team works, integrity, etc. Most importantly, to learn how to handle the emotion either after a win or a loss.
By the way, I was also there to witness LS won last year. Sometimes, there are a lot more going-on outside of what media describe on newspaper and such. It's a scene that we as parents worth watching too.

Education - multiple intelligence, agreed.
Domination may not a good sign for any games and competition in whatever levels, like, school, society...... LSC vs DBS is eye catching.
I am interested to know how DBS bounce back and or LSC maintain the leading edge in athletic.
In my good old days, my school won Grade C in a year, we enjoyed that for months, unfortunately, no more after that . still dominated by them.

其實睇你系咩位置, DBS 家長,尤其是 Grade A 既, 咪會唔開心囉, 覺得無咁既必要.
LS 既家長當然無所謂啦, 反正佢地系贏個個.
在我一個外人來看, 也不覺得是大問題, 香港人不是時常說要有知情權, 不是要公開, 要透明嗎? 怎麼到了公開自己輸了就覺得有問題?

登左出黎啦！講到人哋好似唔輸得咁，D學生不知幾團結幾有風度呀！都唔明你哋D家長咁鍾意去理埋D咁嘅嘢架，其實讀邊間學校都好，最重要係小朋友讀唔讀到啫，運動叻讀唔到書有鬼用咩！吃不到的葡萄是酸的

I agree domination is absolutely not a good experience for the students. The purpose of being in a competition is to compete. And honestly by dominating, that would possibly mean too much school/ adult's involvement, which take away the valuable experience the students can gain thru the experience.
Anyway, there is a long road ahead so I definitely support the notion to learn from failure. The sooner, the better.
(sorry just a declaration, personally I am neither schools' parents nor graduates)

The press conference in DBS focused on other issues like Terrence will be retired and other development plan. It's the Principal of 鮮魚行 disclosed the news, because he thought the boy can get in DBS, the reporter raised the question to follow up the issue. What can Terrence say, someone lies...... So he may need to sit for exam...
DBS boys and the basket ball coach were not happy, someone 抽DBS水。the coach also shared in his Facebook, he didn't offer any scholarship to any boy from 鮮魚行。
DBS just stopped there and didn't take further action, if not, the media will say Elite school ....... 鮮魚行小學

You should raise this question to Principal Leung, he said that, not Terrence Chang.
In DBS, they may head hunt some basketball talents, all will confirm in first round of admission after passing the sports trial or by invitation. The second round will be in July and purely academic test, Chinese, English and Maths only, not trails and no interview. So, it's a gentle cold shoulder to Principal Leung, FY no chance to get in through written exam.
Don't mixed up incorrect info from reporter and draw your wrong conclusion.

需唔需要考written depends on 個學生本身喺嗰項運動係咪好top.I.e.,跑步，游泳呢d有個人成績既最容易知道，唔係最top就有可能要考。
至於足球，籃球呢d team sports就好難話邊個最叻，除非你叻到出曬名，否則就會睇學業。
