Hi,
My son studies in UK and just finished A-Level.  He plans to continue studying in Uni in Uk.  I found it is too rush or not enough time to apply the student visa after AL result published. Is there anything need we can do now ?  Or it is most likely to enter the school late?  As he stayed in Uk till end of June, can i assume no TB test is needed?  Otherwise, he should do it now to save the time.

Also, I am thinking he may apply BNO Visa now so as to ensure that he can start the study on time.  Can we change the "passport / visa status" in this stage now ?

I asked my son to "research" on it but he is still very "blur".  :(

點解你覺得唔夠時間？大學唔係9月1號開學喎？如果唔夠時間咪所有香港學生都要遲開學？應該足夠有餘嘅。

Maybe i think too much and wanna have some buffer. I see it will take ~ 3 weeks to get the student visa. If the semester starts from mid of Sep, it will be just on time..

年年都係咁，冇咩好擔心。就算真係遲咪遲囉，都讀大學，家長唔好太緊張喇。

, Uk 邊間大學會9 月中開學？

放心，個個考A Level 都係等8月中放榜先開始準備做VISA , UCAS 變咗unconditional offer之後你accept 大學，然後叫佢地出CAS，正常一星期左右可以出到，跟手做VISA , 9月中可以收到個學生簽證，大部份大學都係9月20 打後迎新週，係有少少趕既，不過大家都係咁。
唔使再做TB啦。
當然如果你要申請BNO VISA 又另計，視乎自己意願。

BNO visa 有快證, 5日就搞掂. 唔使 student visa

有冇聽講過而家改咗例,做visa全部都要做TB？
