我上九華 website, 見佢科科都有公開DSE成績, 唯獨 M1, M2 無資料, 係我搵唔到, 定真係無?
可否請教一吓數據高手?

如是即係如 DGD 公布數學成績計法

又唔一定大學不能選修工程科目. 三大一定要有M1/M2但其餘的5大的工程課程又唔一定要有M1/M2.

如果考慮去外國，要留意部份外國大學要求core＋calculus才算一科數，而且唔一定工程科目才需要數學合格

講就咁講啫，但如果無M1M2，未必讀得嚟
我當年有個同學未讀過a-maths，但大學讀computer science，讀到想死咁款

睇個別人士, 識人大學讀CS都無讀過A-Math, 一樣無問題.

阿女有2個大同（三大）工程冇讀M1 ／2，都照收，但year 1讀科數學真係比較吃力。

荃官，鄉中呢D級數既學校都唔開M1,，其它B1中學唔開有幾出奇
B2B或以下水平中學有開M1/M2反而出奇

可能不關學術上平事，如果很少學生選M 1，學校可能因為資源關係，所以不開。

b1中學如果唔夠數學老師，冇資源同時開到M1同M 2

其實有太多選擇無用，大部份學生都係讀兩至三科選修科咋嘛

M2係以前的pure math簡化版，當然會較受歡迎，直接銜接大學工程科目

M1係以前的maths and stat，原意俾文商科人讀，無咁有用

不過而家選大學，M1M2認受性是一樣的

如果係去到B3既組別, 我諗唔係淨係英文唔好咁簡單囉
反過來, 可能只係得數學好既機會太D (即係中, 英同其它科完全唔掂)

咁考好基本core maths, 再花時間考番好其它主科仲實際啦!

我地search過有興趣的幾間大學，學系specific requirements都係話M1orM2

你講邊度既大學？連UK G5都係讀話M1 or M2 (好似全英國對M1同M2一視同人）

34樓間大學最低入學要求 ABB
只不過 DSE 要求 3553+555 較 AL 高
Maths 更要 DSE 數Core 5* + M2 5

(1) Cambridge

Please note that for Cambridge courses that require Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Levels, applicants are required to take Extended Module 2 (Algebra and Calculus) Mathematics as part of their core.

For Cambridge courses that require Mathematics A Level, applicants are advised to take either Extended Module 1 (Calculus and Statistics) or Extended Module 2 (Algebra and Calculus) Mathematics as part of their core.

(2) Oxford

For courses requiring A*A*A:

Chemistry and Engineering:

• Grade 5 in Core Maths and Core English

• Grades 5*5*5 in three electives from Category A (or grade A in any electives taken from Category C), with grade 5* in subjects required for the course you are applying for.

• Students taking a Maths extension paper may count it as one of their electives.

Maths/Maths and Statistics/Maths and Philosophy:

• Grade 5 in Core Maths and Core English

• Grade 5* in one Maths extension paper and grades 5*5 in two other electives from category A (or grade A in any electives taken from Category C)

(3) UCL

Applicants for degree programmes where mathematics is required, a level 5* will be required for the compulsory Mathematics element and a minimum of level 5 for the extended algebra and calculus extended element (the calculus and statistics extended component will not be acceptable for these subjects). For subjects that require an A* at GCE A-level Mathematics, level 5* will be required in the extended component. For these programmes only two further elective subjects will be required.

(4) LSE

Mathematics A*	5* in both compulsory and extended Mathematics
Mathematics A	5 in both compulsory and extended Mathematics

(5) Imperial College (MBBS requirement)

Hong Kong

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)

Grade 5 - 5* in relevant subjects. Where Mathematics is required applicants should achieve the required grade in both the Mathematics compulsory and Mathematics Extended 1 or 2 components.

UCL個說明我未能完全理解, 但M1/M2 係咪咁大分別呢? 個別科目可能係, 但大路計就未必

呢個level的大學，我唔敢高攀啦，去睇都係得個知字，所以從來無去睇佢地要求

正如升中，自己知自己咩料，人地睇皇仁喇沙男拔要求，我都無需要去睇一樣

其實我都只係想講番, 當全國最Top既學校都唔係指定乜乜乜時, 唔通個D全國排名1X甚至2X/3X既要求會再高D咁有趣?

我也覺得M2比較好D因為很多學科都要求微積分。這方面M2就好似教多好多。當然冇讀M1或者M2都可以，但追得辛苦。
