I heard there is no 精英班, but there may have 1-2 classes in which the students need times to adjust to Eng environment in S.1.

Unfortunately, as these students will be classfied as underachiever, the negative labelling effect starts to occur.

聽聞去年有兩班精英班,一班輔導班.今年就唔知.

官立或津貼英中為保聲譽，一旦發現經由派位入來而力有不棣的學生，初則強加輔導，學生如不能趕上，便會承受很大的壓力，最終只有退學收場。可笑的是仍有部分家長以為參加大抽獎中籤，子女入了「名校」就光宗耀祖，日後可以一帆風順，誰不知惡夢正悄悄地開始了。
