各位家長，

怎樣才知道那間學校是 band 幾呢 ? 我兒今九月升小六，現讀大埔道基督教崇真小學 (但成績屬一般)，從小由菲傭帶大，自理能力又弱，想送他入讀寄宿學校，起碼學到 "自理" 但又怕成績夠好，心儀學校 "赤柱聖士提反中學" 未必收，自知敢高攀名校，但又想入一些飛仔學校，真担心，請教！

There is no "official" way to know which band a school is of, however you can tell by the quality of students accepted by the school in recent years.

For St. Steven, to be honest, the chance is little unless your son's school result is OK, and I think they prefer those who is good in English because I know that most of their students are from the middle class and the children speak English fluently. Also, they prefer students who learn a musical instrument (I mean not the piano but the others which you can find in an orchestra). You may assess if your son fits their requirement.
