So I need to prepare F.1 level or P.6 level?

For top schools, better to prepare for F1 level. I saved the following info from one DBS mom earlier

DBS written test

Information from my son after the written examination:

Chinese 45 min - one out of two topics for composition (70%), memorable smile and use of money. Others are standard for P6 students.

English 45 min - 80 questions, very difficult and include everything. My son felt that the standard in between Cambridge KET and PET, around F1-2 level.

Mathematics 45min - 24 English Maths questions, tricky questions.

I wonder how many P.6 student passed such kind of exam. If someone was passed, that means he can pass in the first round of the interview.
Anyway, your informaton is very useful.

Some smart kids can't pass the first round not because they are not as good as others, they are just out of luck in the interview day. For example, their questions may be harder, the interviewers are more tough, etc.
Unfortunately, when you 叩門 in July, not only need to do exam but I heard you still need to be interviewed (may be just by principal or Vice principal), make sure your son appears to be confident if the chance comes again....
