各位家長，大家好！小兒屬東區校網，性格開朗活躍，成績如下 :
五下 : 中A，英A，數B，常A
六上 : 中A，英A，數A，常A
學校無排名次，我想報張祝珊和中國婦女會，但又驚太進取，各位可否提供意見幫幫忙，謝謝！

My son also study in same school am section last year.

CCSC is the best, second is CHinese Lady in the Easter District. But if you check CCSC's website, in the 1st round, acceptance of NPMPS is only one or two. So the chance of accepted in the 1st round is low. But if you put CHinese Lady in the 1st round, the chance of accepted is high. So if you only want CCSC, you should not put Chinese Lady in the 1st round, otherwise, you will not be considered in the 2nd round by CCSC. You should pick up another preferred school as a 2nd choice in the 1st round unless you consider Chinese Lady as good as CCSC.

Last year, in the am section, I think there is almost 10 students from Class A being accepted by CCSC, most of them are picked up in the 2nd round.

Your analysis is valid and practical and a good suggestion to sygwt.

My son also graduated from NPMPS 4 years ago in PM.

I encourage sygwt to be more aggressive, think out of the Eastern District, like Wan Chai, Central etc. Some of the elite schools, they are not just focus on academically, but also needto be all-rounded, e.g. Sports, music, leadership etc.... Conduct also a very important factor.

NPMPS' boy are capable for high profile schools and no need to be so conservative.

Book an appointment with Ms Leung Lai Lai - the Principal, seek for her recommendations. She knows about the scenario very well.

小女剛升中一 , 都是東區網 , 入了英中 , 我估計應在自行收了 , 我比D意見你 , 中國婦女會，要全港名次頭300名學生才有INV資格, 我上年小女的同學(全日班)考第10到 , 佢有份INV , 但學校不收佢 ! 因當我時已知要全港名次頭300名學生才有INV資格, 所以雖然我女都是同校(半日班)考第10到 , 我都不敢博 , 因為東區不夠英中比BAND 1學生分 , 安全起見 , 在自行一定要比有把握而又喜歡的BAND 1英中先收到 , 如不滿才叩門 , BAND 1叩門能力高, 如果等大抽獎, 就MY GOD !, 這時已不是看你小朋友成績了 , 彩數 , 小學本身BAND 1學額 , 看全級學生名次,而不是分數 , 女兒3次報分,英數常全都A ,只有中文料試過B, 在小學斑名次都只是10名, 成績雖不太差,但名@不高,所以我都不敢博!

我意思係，所有中一生成績由高至低順序排列，首３００名才有資格interview

Be exact:

The school received the applications and submit the list of applicants to EDB.

The EDB will rank the applicants (only) according to the Territory Rank Order based on the first two submitted examination results (Adjusted already) and reply to the school. If total 1000 students, the list will be 1000 in order.

The school may consider to interview all, none or part of the high rank order students. So you mentioned 300 students is subjected to the school's decision based on time and resources and previous experince.

They are still P6 students and not S1 as in your post.
