如果有得選擇,應該選哪一個,為什麼?謝謝!

視乎邊間學校較適合你兒子
如果有得選擇, 揀喇沙可能會更好

1. 成績
2間都係傳統名校
但都有著成績兩極化既問題
前面一部份同學很TOP
後面會有一部份同學表現欠佳
但整體而言, 喇沙表現會較優勝

2. 運動
於港島及九龍組別
喇沙過去連續3年奪得學界體育總成績 #2
華仁則連續3年奪得 #9
2間都算係Top 10, 但喇沙體育強大更多

3. 音樂
喇沙音樂歷史不及華仁悠久
約5年前喇沙開始加強音樂培訓, 表現理想
但華仁音樂發展始終較久
校際音樂節以華仁表現較佳
(Boys' Choir 主要係DBS, St. Paul 及華仁爭)

4. 課外活動
2間學校不相伯仲
2間學生會自主度都極之高
並非一般學校, 由學校控制之學生會
是絕對能培養學生leadership的地方

第一次係bk見到對華仁的言論比較中肯，本來唔會再就華仁發言，因為怕又要嘈一輪。

不過老實講，有得揀都係喇沙先，華仁係好，但不及喇沙好。

不如你發言，我想聽d中肯既意見，因華仁都係我杯茶，想了解多d。明白華仁成績下滑，但成績以外，我相信仲有其他地方應該留意，比如教學理念，學生質素，老師既熱誠，校內文化等等...可以冒險分享嗎﹖

wyk 因為校舍大, 設施好, 學生每天回校都有很多活動, 功課壓力不大, 校風自由, 要很有自律, 懂得自己讀書的學生才能有好的成績.學生會讀得很開心, 但成績就不太理想, 可是我還是喜歡這間學校

華仁是一所由耶穌會辦的學校，他們的教學理念不是要培育9A狀元，而是要培育學生的自律和品格。很欣賞華仁舊生對學校的loyalty.

My impression is mid to bottom Band 1 only.

我都好喜歡佢個校舍, 好大好舒服, 我都想呀仔可以喺o甘既環境讀書, 仲有佢地有個大停車場, 接送好方便！

Noted, fair comment.

My friends (Most of them are professionals or senior executives in MNC or PLC in HK.) from WYHK shared with me, WYHK marginally hold the ranking so far, but WYK dropped the ranking significantly in last few years.

They ranked WYHK, mid-band 1; WYK bottom band 1 (I didn't say that in previous post as many parents here are so defensive about WYK).

Agree entirely with ANChan59's comments.

WYK has dropped significantly recently. Main reason being too free. Few assignments, free to do anything in class ....

However one quality which is good among WYK students are that their conducts are generally better when compared to those of LS.

我認為不是因為 "too free"

WYK 向來都 free
如果是因為自由風氣而大倒退
應該更早會出現明顯下滑 (drop significantly)

我諗係WYK 依舊自由 + 2001-2002學年 5轉3 banding
本來Top 20% 才是Band 1
變成Top 33.33% 也是Band 1
成績中游的學生亦能於抽獎環節獲取錄
加上一貫自由的風氣
於05-06 學年開始, 從公開試成績可明顯看見大倒退

其實LSC風氣亦十分開放
(男校普遍都較女校或男女校風氣較自由開放. 如WYK, LSC, DBS, SJC...etc)

WYK & LSC 一樣有操行較差的學生
儀容問題, 如唔攝衫或染髮都有出現於2間學校的學生

我想九華, 已開始改變中, 我朋友個仔係九華成績唔好, 攞成績表果日,比老師狂罵. 如果唔計成績, 計品行等....九華比另一所好. 另外果間一樣成績兩極化, 但成績好既學生多於九華.

I feel La Salle College is excellent. My son is the old boy of this college. Now my son is in University Year 3. Although my son was shy in primary school (Not from LSC primary school), he becomes confident, polite and has leadership and team spirit after his secondary school life in LSC. I realise that there is a big change after studying in this college. Moreover, although I haven't been the PTA official member of the college, I and my husband still feel we are the member of Lasallian family. My son loves his school very much and so do his schoolmates. Although they are free to develop their abilities in school, their academic results are still good. I notice that most of their schoolmates' personalities are good and polite.

我的兒子現在在喇沙讀中一, 雖然他是外來生, 但已對喇沙產生歸屬感, 他的改變很大, 以前比較害羞, 但經過一年時間, 他已有所改變, 外向及主動了一些, 兒子說他的同學一般都很乖
