朋友話, 通常 Band 1 尾 Band 2 頭的學生買定保險去讀播道, 正確嗎 ?

咁又係咪要好有誠意去求位才獲位的 ?

我囡囡的師兄師姐多數是band 2的入讀該校.

我見好多人讀呢間小學就係為咗有得直上播道英中, 咁即係家長們為咗個小朋友將來讀 band 2 英中 ? 是嗎 ? 真係唔太明

It is not easy to attract top band 1 students for new DSS schools without proven track records.

About your question of why parents sending their kids to a band 2 EMI secondary. For a through-train school, the banding of the secondary school is meaningless. As officially said, "there are no band 1 secondary schools, there are only band 1 students". If the primary section can train good students, the secondary school will be good too.
