Any BK friend got the acceptance offer from DGS ?

My friend just rec'd the reject letter.

Regarding the school web site, the results will annonuce
the earliest on 18 Feb 2008, so I am so surprise that
some people already the answer.

Anyone has the fresh notice or news, if share.

Just want to share with you :
I bought the "145th Anniversary Celebration Musical"
DVD set from DGS during the headmistress's talk
last year and I just have time to review these during this CNY.
The muscial was preformed at 2005 by both students at DGS junior and senior school.  It express not only the
history of DGS (from 1860) and also the spirit of the
school.  It's excellent !

Hope your girl can be one of DGS's girl and can be
grow up with the DGS's spirit  ~ "Daily Giving Service" !

My daughter and one of her friends are also rejected but i don't feel much disappointed since this is not the choice of my daughter. Two of her friends are still waiting for result. They are good at sports.

This morning (18/2) around 8:24, I called DGS and asked
whether I will receive the letter today. The staff replied
that they will send the letters by today (no matter is
reject or accept), so she told me to wait for a few days.
So I wonder how come somebody had already recevied
the reject letter!!

I am still waiting for the letters, good luck to those parent
same as me, Yesterday, I really could not fall asleep and I
think tonight too!!!!!:cry: :cry: :cry:

the waiting list. So I phoned DGS to ask when we will
get the result, she just said she has no idea. That means what I can do is just wait !!wait!! and wait!!

Just get the call from my classmate,
she also received the waiting list letter today.
she is live at HK side too.

Now, just left one of my classmates and I still
not yet receive any letter.

Sorry I do not know when will be the enrollment
date for the 1st batch. If I am correct, it may be
waiting after all successer register.

Thank you for your information. If my guess is correct, your daughter will be getting good news. That is reject letter send out first (last week), then waiting list letter (these 2 days) and then finally the offer letter (next 2 days).

唔洗 wait and 失眠, 你都見到咁多人waiting list, 我唸無幾人會放棄dgs offer, waiting 機會真的很細, 我都係waiting, 不過當已被reject了 !

My daughter is also waiting for the results but she seems not as nervous as me. I just wonder why Dgs can't announce the results as the Spcc does, posting on the school website. Are there any BK friends living on Kowloon side received the waiting list letter today? I phoned Dgs today to ask when the last batch of letters would be sent but the staff said it might take a week. How annoying it is! Anyway , wish good news for all those not receiving any letters yet!

Up to this moment, it seems nobody received any

DGS的做法一貫如是，信是一批一批先後的寄，這一批是reject的，那一批是waiting的，再一批是....

真的是煎熬。

各位收到waiting或reject的不要氣餒呀! 香港好的學校不是只有那三數間。入不到"頂尖"的學校不代表孩子做不成"頂尖"的學子。

because my daughter is on wait list, I think DGS will decide to give offer to those in wait list after all offered student

二零零七年十一月五日至十二月五日	第一階段報名日期申請者請用校方提供之表格備妥學生個人資料夾 (請詳列各方面的專長，如音樂、話劇、舞蹈等)，並填寫個人資料表 (體育運動) 以列明運動技能。
第二階段申請程序

If it is a reject letter, DGS will give you a notice and return two envolpe. However for the waiting list, just a notice
and ask you to return a reply slip, no envolpe return.
In your case, I think is a reject letter, you can call DGS
and check!!

The staff replied that it is inconvenient to disclose the

Oh ! I've received the 'Reserve Letter' today too. :cry:

May someone tell us any difference between the reserve letter and the waiting list letter, or they are same.

I am also waiting for the letter . I think if the applicants on reserve list are asked to register by next Monday, there may be good news for us if we don't receive any letter tomorrow. I think the ones on reserve lists will be on a higher priority if there is any vacancy than those on the waiting list. After the registration of those on reserve , I think the offer letter will be sent on next Tuesday and Wednesday. By the way, are there any DGS applicants going to the interview in Spcc next Saturday? My girl is in group 3.
