My son had joined their playgroup (Gym Core) when he was around 1yr old, the advantage there is "spacious", and teach by a native English teacher. The course is really just focus on Gym only, let the babies run & play. May be you can choose the music course, I think it's better.

Now, I bring my son (2yrs old) to have playgroup in Prince Edward, it's much better. He can have the time in gym, singing songs, art works within 1 hour.

Yes, my elder son went to their gym when he was 1. He enjoyed so much. I like them 'cos they are taught by NET. BTW, I heard they are opening in TST soon. More convenience for Kowloon people.

I heard from the central center that they are opening in late feb. my daugther is attending their art class and she really loves it!

I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I've joined the Gymboree on Canine Road when my daughter was 9 months old. We paid for 12 lessons, but only went there for less than half.

There were singing, dancing, playing with their setups etc during the 45 mins class, but the instructors didn't show much enthusiasm and were not able to motivate or even get the babies' attention. The class was so boring that we couldn't wait for it to end. That's why we didn't even bother to attend the class after 5 lessons.

So, I won't even waste the money on them.

Any other parents who got different experience with Gymboree?

I enrolled my son into Gymboree's class after JWT closed their Central center in Nov last year. Compared to JWT, Gymboree's setup is less appealing. But my baby is fine with every setting so long as you can let him play freely. Another reason that I picked Gymboree is that they offer free play gym for member. They have 1 hour free gym everday from Mon to Fri. I live quite close to Caine Road so I find this offer quite attractive for my boy who is very active (or naughty).

My daughter is 20mths now, she loves Gymboree gym class very much, both teachers and setting are very good. You may attend their trial lesson (For gym class, I recommend teacher Eunice for Gymclass, and teacher Jackie for artclass)
