DSE entrance requirement is 5 x 5* average.

Is 3 x A* from A level easier or 5 x 5*?

There is about 3% A* and 1% A** in DSE.
There are about 10% to 15% A* in A-Level.

It appears that it is "easier" to obtain 3 A* in A-Level than five 5* (or above) in DSE.

IB: 38/42 with 776 at HL and no 5s

It appears that the requirement for IB is not so "demanding" when compared with A-Level.

because IB is a much harder exam than A-Level. I have always believe that HK universities have weighted A-Level too highly.
