The local UK university fee is based on the residency requirement and not based on the nationality. So many Hong Kong students who hold the full UK passports are required to pay the overseas tuition fee if they do not have 3-year residency in UK for 3 years or more.

I know that already. I have been studied in UK private school for 4 years GCSE and Alevel. But somebody tell me that if my children holding the Portuguese passport(Macau) can have a benefit as a EEC student(which is no need to pay school fee in UK public high school.)

Do you know that?

yes they can go to state school, but if you require boarding, you need to pay boarding fees

呢個要睇下間大学當你係边樣，但是而家EEC or intertational 都唔係差好多学費

1. 公立中學是免費
2. 如果想大學收EEC Student fee，入大學之前三年要在英國定居，及有住址資料，但留意：一般住寄宿學校並”不算”是英國定居。

intermational 學生唔只淨係收學費, 仲要交college fee, 每間大學不同科目不同收費, 我所知的一間每年除了本科學費,仲要收5000鎊的college fee, 係for學生所需要用的學習設備的,而home student fee已經包埋用學校設備

所以雖然而家international學生學費同home student學費拉近左,但還是相差不少。
