Bristol Medical School Entry Requirements

GCSE
Minimum GCSE requirements for Bristol Medial School :
Maths GCSE - minimum of A / 7 needed English Language GCSE - minimum of C / 4 needed

A Levels
The minimum A level requirements for Bristol Medical School is AAA.

Must include Chemistry & Biology / Physics / Mathematics

Graduates: 2:1 in their degree plus ABB at A-level, including A in Chemistry and B in Biology, Physics or Mathematics.

A-level contextual offer: ABB

IB
36 points overall 18 at Higher Level, including 6, 6 at Higher Level in Chemistry and one of Biology, Physics or Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretations)

For 2025 entry at Bristol Medicine, the UCAT cutoff for invitation to interview was exceptionally high, at approximately 3010 for Home applicants and 3080 for International applicants (based on the old 3600-total format). Bristol ranks candidates based 100% on UCAT score for interview selection.

英國入醫科 A Level 門檻好低，3科 A 已經夠 (最 top 嗰幾間除外)。不過好睇重 UCAT 同 interview

想考入英國嘅大學，requirements 只睇3科，是事實來的，不過絕對唔算係“兒嬉”。港英兩地嘅學制不同，香港一個考試，大學最低入場劵係332A33; 英國考完GCSE 兩年後再考GCE。GCSE要讀好多科，算係全面，我兩個孩子唔計自己要考中文，佢地讀11至12科。Year 12，大部分人讀3科，有少部分人讀4科5科。

呢個唔係兒嬉問題，係大學左膠行政主導問題。因為佢地覺得草根學生大部分都只可以應付三科，如果睇多過三科對草根學生唔公平，所以只會睇三科。咁大學，尤其要求嚴格嘅大學例如牛劍，或者學科例如醫科，唯有靠UCAT呢類科入學試，同埋interview篩選。
