見好多U 要求三科成績
阿仔讀緊中 英 數 物理 地理 歷史
因為見數學轉分又會小d, 想問英國大學計邊三科成績?

例如requirement UCAS Tariff points
112, 係咪DSE任何三科換分加埋夠112？

例如A level
BBC

DSE係咪任何三科有

5 5 4 ？

唔同科唔同學校會唔同，入 “BBC” 要求度睇，通常有講要求咩科，部分會寫 DSE 成績點計，無寫嘅話，要問

BBC = DSE  443

Depends on which university and which course you are applying, most universities don't count Chinese Language and Liberal Study (Chinese).  

Some courses require specific subject in specific grade, PT, OT requires Biology or Science subjects

另外留意埋英國大學計DSE Math core 唔係一科，有些學系要求計Math 成績的會要求同時有 M2, 有啲M1/2 ，你可以看一下。

我見有agent 綱頁甘寫：
以 A-Level 分數來表達的入學要求，對於香港同學來說是很容易理解的。你可以直接把 A-Level 分數轉換成DSE分數， A-Level 的 A* = DSE的5**/5*、A = 5、B = 4、C = 3。假如大學列明要求AAA，則等於 DSE 的 555

AL 某些要求 DSE 可能要考高一/兩線

Tariff points
AAA = 555
AAB → 555/554 之間
ABB = 554
BBB → 554/544 之間
BBC = 544
BCC → 544/444 之間
CCC = 444
CCD → 444/443 之間
CDD = 443
DDD → 443/433 之間
DDE = 433
DEE → 443/333 之間
EEE = 333

其實要睇返心儀大學網頁要求, 有些會列明dse要求, EK見到有大學會計數學+M1/M2, 有要求中文要有3, 亦有接受core + 2 electives

根據經驗，BBC 係 444-433，叫價 B 9 成都唔會要你攞 A，係嘅話應該都係預你唔會揀佢。
然後視乎學科同院校有唔同搭配要求：
1. any 3 three subjects (exclude/include Chinese/Liberal Studies)
2. any 3 three subjects plus level __ in English/Maths (即係睇 4-5 科)
3. any 3 electives4. any 3 electives OR any 2 electives plus level ___ in English/Maths

通常要求第 2、3 嘅學科都係啲熱門 “嚴格” 科，e.g. Mechanical Engineering、Biomed 等等，又或者係猛料嘅大學 e.g. LSE、Cambridge。要求第 1、4 嘅唔係 law 嘅文科多而且二線大學常見。
第一頁提供嘅網址非常有用，但有啲院校寫就話咁樣出 offer，其實唔一定，想試唔怕填。國際學生份學費咁吸引，出 offer 會容易啲鬆將。

IELTS 有效兩年 (以入學計), 一般升中六暑假考，萬一唔達大學要求可再考，唔清楚foundation 同 degree對那種IELTS 要求会否不同

如果打算去英國升大學，早D睇下大學資料，如 typical offer 要求，課程內容，選定目標，UCAS可報5間大學，升中六暑假計劃下怎寫personal statement(要跟足字數格式要求), 如報 oxbridge 同醫科十月中截止，其他大學和學科建議一月中定月尾前報 (即當地學生截止日期), 報名要 predicted grade, personal statement 同老師 reference letter。Predicted grade 同 reference letter應該 由學校直接提供比 UCAS。

有些大學同科目要面試，如果收到conditional offer 在限期前選定一個 firm choice 一個 insurance choice, dse好似要自己報成績比大學，達標 conditional offer 会變 unconditional

如果只當back up, 可以慢慢做，international students 最遲6月尾報，或出了成績經 clearing, 即看看那間大學仲有什麼科有位

backup 意思係咪香港考唔到去英國讀？如果係我都算，乜international student 6 月仲可以經ucas 報？

學生自己開UCAS account, 填完自己資料同personal statement, 通知學校入predicted grade and reference letter.

你可以6月前報,如早報早收conditional offer 個心定D, 但如只當back up, 你自己考慮時間, 其實報UCAS 相對簡單, 選5個choices最花心血時間
