I was brushing my teeth today and the thought of going to 牙科保健 when I was 6 suddenly came up! hahaha.... Im not trying to save money on dental care for my child, but Im just wondering if schools like ESF or other international schools will send kids to 牙科保健?

會，學校有得比你揀的，可以參加或用自己牙醫。

It depends on the schools. Some schools do not participate in the government dental care service, in which case, you have to apply yourself if you want your kid to join the service.

Icic, thanks! I remembered some of the dentist were quite rough..... well...its free, so better don't expect much.

My son's school allows you to join. In fact the service is very good. They even have emergency service so your kid may go if they have problems outside of scheduled visit.

With options given, we choose yes and the school arranges transportation for the kids who join the programme.
