The school is well established with experienced teachers. I feel they take pupils well being seriously, as they have school nurse, and a good size inclusive learning support team and when I went on school tour sometime ago, they said the younger children don’t go to playground coz there were renovations. But they would take them to nearby park to play as it’s still important. Suggest you may also go to “Hong Kong School” group to get more existing parents feedback for a real picture. As DSC is not a popular choice among local-local parents who use this forum.

This is exactly what my husband and I said about DSC. We live real close to DSC, so we actually see their students all the time. My husband always said to me if we want a real international school, DSC really is one.
My former Japanese boss' 2 kids also studied there. He quite like there. Really good diversity: Loads of Japanese, Koreans, East Asians, Chinese and of course Caucasians.

根據我朋友女女的現況，中文係簡體字書，但因為佢習慣左寫繁體字，跟老師溝通後，功課assignment,test, exam可以寫繁體字

可以先安排School tour了解下。
的確係國際學校，會講廣東話嘅學生係少數。太古城多日本人住，所以學校都多日本人，其他就咩國藉都有啲，小朋友之間都會用英文溝通。
對於數學要求唔高嘅，就冇咩所謂，想小朋友數好啲就要外補。
佢有elementary program同alternative program，AP會著重多啲STEAM，但有個wait list嘅。（同埋AP冇ESL English as a second language)

Yeah it’s a very resourceful fb group on IS, the other parent mentioned.
Actually Delia was acquired by Chow Tai Fook education group (same group as Victoria Kindergarten). I guess there must be some potential there otherwise those businessman won’t buy the school

DSC因有ESL課程，所以對英文要求不高。普遍都容易通過面試攞到offer。

以前個名叫Delia School of Canada，而家叫DSC International School ，強調返國際學校，亦同Delia劃清界限。DSC本來就係以前校名嘅縮寫，我估改哩個名應該係減省改名嘅麻煩吧，例如email後綴？

少少背景, Delia group本身係加拿大修女教會，「地利亞」三個字卻令人聯想一間在80年好出名的「飛仔學校」（勿插，以前D人係咁叫），之後呢間冇咗Delia就開了幾間收「少數族裔」為主的中小學，另外就有呢間地利亞加拿大國際，但可能因為「地利亞」個嘜頭太深入民心（如果你未聽過可能因為後生），香港人一直不多，最近被周大福收購了，便從新包裝，甩咗「地利亞」個名，相信對形象是好事，尤其現在本地生愈來愈多。
繼續沿用DSC, 可能都想同舊校有返些關聯，學校始終有歷史，佢網站都有強調自己86年成立，聽落好過全新校，中文就改了德思齊，個logo話DSC =dream success celebrate. 其實從新包裝有得做，類似CAIS都好成功。

都有潛力，在香港做好了品牌，長遠發展大灣區雙語學校有更大市場（以前叫國際學校）

拋開歷史形象問題，DSC老師真係幾好，經驗豐富，對小朋友亦好有愛心，而且學校嘅ESL教學亦好成熟，讀一年，英文就已經突飛猛進。對於入唔到傳統大校IS嘅，DSC作為過渡學校係唔錯嘅選擇。

係唔錯，我都識得人讀，其實間間IS小學的老師都通常有愛心，揀啱自己需要的便可，呢間有正常校舍又有實力背境，好過商場學校多多聲。

My son has studied there for one year now and it has been amazing!! He learned so much, met many friends and had so much fun. The teachers were super nice and what impressed me the most was that the school placed a lot of effort to communicate with and to keep parents apprised of any school updates or new directives.
My son enjoyed going to school everyday and that's what mattered the most.
Recently, the school is undergoing a lot of upgrades and renovations. Seems like the management is on full throttle to improve the school, giving the best environment for the students. Hope you will consider this school too.

我女兒幾乎係零英文基礎讀DSC，讀咗一個semester之後，老師通知轉入普通課程，唔使再讀ESL。每個人轉出時間唔同，老師不時會評估每個小朋友嘅能力再決定。

DSC 的ESL program應該攪得幾好，是否要另外收費？我聽唔少人LS轉去，之後都考到入其他的IS, 都係不錯的選擇，因為傳統IS好多都冇乜ESL support，如果英文唔達標就直接reject

要另外收費，每個月HK$3660，我覺得DSC嘅ESL係做得好好(emoji)，老師好多方法教小朋友英文，小朋友無需死記硬背已經可以記到好多單詞同句子。若小朋友英文唔好，先去DSC係好好嘅選擇。

DSC係簡體字，用內地人教版教材。我覺得簡體字比繁體字容易，小朋友冇咁難掌握。每日一堂中文課，所以教學進度會慢啲，一年先教完一本書。中文母語班好少人，得5～6人一班，所以老師可以兼顧每個小朋友。

冇乜雜費，不過周不時有casual dressing day,會要求小朋友捐款20蚊比慈善機構。課外活動選擇比較少，一般一級可能得10項選擇。網站有課外活動介紹。

咁我覺得讀KIS好啲，轉換繁簡體對小朋友係額外負擔。

They will access the English level throughout interview, and advice if needed ESL or not.
