私校(private independent school) 跟IS 一樣，課程自主，分別在local vs non-local students 比例，由PIS轉 IS，是否減少local 比例？現時PIS相對重視中文，轉IS後中文如何定位？

PIS must admit at least 70% of students with PR since the land and govt loan is granted to set up the school. ie ISF, ICS, VSA, etc
Private schools have no such restrictions; land/building is privately owned/leased and the school is free to run its own curriculum, set its own admission criteria, etc (subject to EDB approval).

我屋企喺佢附近，前身IMS時，我住屋苑好多外國小朋友都讀果間。

我以前中學喺正對面，交通都算方便，天后地鐵行上去5-10分鐘，個校園都算唔細及周圍環境唔錯。

保良局有辨蔡繼有IB經驗，大把人爭住入，開間喺港島呢邊，應該信得過。

CKY只是一間本地私校，只是預科才是IB, 宜家講緊係開辦真正嘅國際學校，係兩樣野，IS大把選擇，一間新校，我又唔多信會爭住入。

Hi Ruth, do you know if the school has any future plans for starting a secondary section? I don't see where the 120 graduates from grade 5 can go? It's practically impossibly that there will be 120 places available at other international schools at this level ready to receive the graduates from this school.

I joined the one last week. It is a nice school. Only reservation is it does not have Grade 6 afterwards. Students must find a new school.

中文用 PTH 按程度分班教。
一定不能同 local primary school 中文教的
量和深度比較。

老師教導很嚴謹。
我女 grade 2, 每星期有中文默書，
暫時默詞，十個以下。

1). Can teach with PYP curriculum, It’s just that the school cannot say it is an IB world school ‘yet’. With reference to the ‘Rules for IB candidate schools’, “candidate schools for the PYP and MYP must make it clear to parents and all interested third parties during the trial implementation period that the IB programme is not being offered under authorized status but only on trial as a candidate school.

There's no such information on their admission page. It's mentioned under News & Events -> Recent Posts -> Looking forward to starting school. I don't know whether it is formal.

I guess the result will come out early next week as on the interview day the principal mentioned that they have to submit the student list to EDB on Dec 5, and suppose there should be a timeframe like a week, for the successful candidate to consider whether they will pay the deposit or not

The deposit is one month tuition fee

已收email的是否申請 Grade 2 ?
會唔會分 Grade 出email?

My offer is for Grade 1 in 2018

We had interview on Nov 11 and offer is Grade 1 2018

On the interview day the principal said that the school must has 70% no locals for getting IB authorisatio later on, so he said non local passport holders have advantage in this case

We are non local passport holder so I guess they send out offer to this group first
