Hi All, my daughter received nursery offers from American International School (AIS) at Kowloon and NAIS at Sai Kung (we live in Tseung Kwan O area). I am struggling to make a decision for her. I know that AIS has quite a long history, a good reputation, and has a very well-designed structured US-based curriculum. NAIS is a bit new, not too much information online compared with AIS and it offers UK-based curriculums. I went to the school tours of both schools. Even AIS’s facilities is a bit old while NAIS is relatively very new but I actually like them both. I hope to seek advices of the two schools from both academic (like course levels - math and science subjects) and social domains (characteristics like politeness, manners, well-rounded person)? Thanks!

For a young child, it is better to choose based on distance. You won't know what curriculum suits her better until they are older so you should just choose the closest.

so when do u think is it no problem if they want to transfer from UK curriculum to US one or the other way around?

Usually primary school is just play so it doesn't matter whether you choose UK or US. Many people change in secondary. If you want to do UK curriculum, it is best to be in a British school by year 10 so your daughter can do IGCSE. For US, change before they start AP.

Hello, may I know when did you submit the application to NAIS and when was your interview assessment? I submitted an application recently but still waiting for their interview arrangement. Thx

Hi manling889, we applied last year around Oct and interviewed this Jan.
