如果大學計分是best5學科，而我有選4科elective(計埋M1), 請問計分時，是否可以不用計中文科？中文科只是有3就可以？

Yes, can exclude Chinese if other subjects have higher scores.
However, some subjects may have specific requirement for Chinese. Like LLB (HKU and CU) requires a minimum grade of 4 for Chinese.

港大E科會否收中文3呢？當其餘6科有一至兩粒星
中大要計中文就肯定唔得

My son's classmate got a 3 in Chinese but he took 3 electives + M1. His Best 6 scores didn't need to count Chinese and he eventually got the offer from HKU medical school.
If you do not take M1/2, you need to get 2 x 5** + 3 x 5* + Chinese=3 to meet the expected score of HKU MBBS.

Do you know what is the difference between expected score and admission score ?
