If my child was born in Dec 2014, should she apply for G6 or G7 admission for 25/26? Strategically would it be more advantageous to try for G6 or G7? It seems the secondary mass intake is G6 ?

I believe you might apply for G5 or G6, G5 is more likely

No mass intake for G6

You must be at least 10 years old to apply for Grade 5 at HKIS. The age and grade determination requirements are clearly listed on the school's website.
