I would like to inquire about the total number of second-round interview invitations that have been sent and the anticipated number of offers that will be extended by February 8, 2024.

Whoever have received an invitation could continue the conversation in this thread

I believe no school would ever disclose the number of interview invitation sent, and I guess no matter how high or low such percentage is, you should always have a backup plan.

Do you mean FY or Grade 1…? I have no idea about the number of second-round invitations. But, for FY, I believe there are 200 spots. (This includes all the ISF preschool applicants.) For Grade 1, there should be 20 spots.

The school usually gives out this info during their info sessions. You may want to check with the admissions office or someone who has recently been to an info session. I’m not sure if my info is still up-to-date.

If you are curious with your odd, I hear the general pecking order would be: Non-Mainland/local background > local background > mainland background.

We are non-local, but the school has requirements to keep minimum of 70% perm resident.Meaning, if they open 20 seats for G1, at most 6 opens to non-local?

Not really, as they should be have more than 70% of students with PR or probably FP. So that’s shouldn’t be too much of a concern for you if your child isn’t a PR. Since they seem to have certain balance among family origination, if you happen to be those that they still have room to fill up, your odd could be higher.
