直資學校其實係會揀人考IB，同國際學校唔同，國際學校九成九學生都有得考，唔會淨係揀叻人去考。呢一點係分析成績嘅時候要留意。

其實睇學校嘅IB分數係咪仲不如睇大學錄取結果？見唔少學校成績唔錯，但大學錄取結果內嘅top 10大學率卻不高。

考 Eng B 嘅就會考 chi A, 總之其中一個語文要A，如只可2選1，個人選 Eng A

可以，我意思係無須在意人地考Eng B， 因佢要考返 chi A, IS 孩子考 Eng A 時，chi B 可能只考 SL。我自己也会留意 bilingual 比例，我指兩個語文皆考A而取得的 bilingual diploma

IS一般都有公佈學生去咗邊的大學，university profile/student results裡面可以睇到，top IS例如GSIS/HKIS/CIS一般都有不少Oxbridge，同埋美國top 10大學，好似Harvard/MIT/Standford哩喲大學。SPCC&DBS今年亦有唔少牛劍。

恭喜你仔IB 狀元，我大仔話呢一階Rchk 學生資數非常好，其實如果唔係中文影響狀元會更加多！我個仔year 10轉左去STC ，而STC 今年9個狀元

dse 同之前 A level 香港英文一直都是 2nd language, 去英國大學一般要加 IElTS，也有聽過唔洗。要留意有學科會要求 Eng A

讀國際學校的小朋友家庭，相比真道的，有錢得多得多 （本身已經好 selective）
所以單單說真道按成績選人入 IB （selective），就已經係偏見。。
無視了自己群體係 selective 呢個事實

我諗你誤會咗我嘅意思，喺國際學校家長眼中，”selective” 呢個字係指學校會按成績去分邊啲學生可以考IB，如果成績未如理想，其實就冇得考IB，DSE分數亦未必係你喺報紙見到嘅IB平均分咁亮麗。當然作為直資學校，佢係被教育局限制不可送所有小朋友去考IB，唔係佢故意想分化小朋友。
相對本地學校，國際學校嘅收生機制由入學至畢業都係”non-selective”，小朋友唔需要面對競爭，喺愉快學習環境下，佢哋嘅分數一啲都唔輸蝕。
我嘅留言並冇貶低真道之意，只係記得我回覆嗰位網友係國際學校新手，想提一提直資學校嘅成績係點樣計出嚟嘅，當你送小朋友入直資學校嘅時候其實冇保證佢會考到呢個平均分。
我唔係好清楚真道嘅家長背景，但見到佢今年成績咁好，佢嘅老師肯定好努力，呢點值得家長為學校加分！

或者用 "matching" 比 "selective" 較合適。一般直資提供的 ib subject choices 比 IS 少，中文又必須考 Chinese A，好似我孩子係文科人，在真道的 science subject group 應該無合適的科目。我唔熟悉而家math 的級別，記得以前真道無最基本的 math studies

Creative Secondary School (CSS) is proud to announce another year of excellent International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results.
Despite the upheaval stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic, students have strived to do their best and displayed great strengths of remarkable resilience and tenacity to produce excellent results. We are very proud of their creativity, growth mindset and hard work in approaching their studies.
Our students’ average score of 38 is testament to their courage in facing adversity over the past 2 years. 2 students achieved a maximum score of 45 points. This is an outstanding achievement that puts each of them in the top 0.5% of IB candidates worldwide.
One student achieved a near-perfect score of 44 points. Overall 10 students (29% of the Diploma cohort) achieved 40 or more points compared with a world average of approximately 32; 100% of our eligible students got the Bilingual Diploma.
The majority of our students begin with us at the Creative Primary School’s Kindergarten or Creative Primary School’s Primary Years’ Programme, providing the benefit of a through-train education at Creative Schools Continuum (Creative Primary School’s Kindergarten, Creative Primary School, Creative Secondary School). With the commitment and dedication of our staff, who have guided and mentored these amazing students in every way, they have developed well with the exemplary qualities of a lifelong learner.
“Despite COVID disruptions, online lessons and other challenges, the school community has come together and this year’s Form 6 students have shone. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our incredible teachers and staff who have put in much time and effort to support our Form 6 students. This is over analysing of grades. I am quite sure university placement is another story. Eg UWC probably has much better placement in US universities than most of the top ranking schools.

原來只選10%適合的同學考IB, 那成績好唔奇。
如果調轉只選10%適合的考DSE, 也會成績很好，而其他90%有理冇理只可考IB, 相信IB成績也會差好多，甚至有D人完成唔到，英文和枝筆唔掂的根本出唔到啲essays.

其實要入美國最頂尖大學，最少四五年前開始部署，考試成績只是其中一個考慮因素，而且不是最重要的，申請學生需證明自己有各方面的才能，能上山下水

呢方面弘立書院識玩，冇正式統計但相信弘立 IB 學生第六科選擇電影音樂話劇等，比例可能全港最高。一方面鼓勵學生多方面發展以符合IB 背後精神，只方面配合美國頂尖大學選擇學生喜好。

原來香港有成80+間直資（60間中學），又收政府錢又收學費，當中有成千個位提供海外課程。除咗最出名十間八間，大部分未聽過。
私中唔多，十幾間，VSA, 弘立, CKY, 音中，德萃，漢鼎等，有啲細到補習社咁，其他主要係國際學校（30+間）。
條例上私校課程不需要跟EBD，直資某程度上需要跟。

私校中，提供非本地課程就係PIS (private Independent school ), VSA, CKY, ISF, ICS，RC，DC 等都是。
和IS最大分別，是IS有foreign passport 限制。

誰人定個價值？何謂升何謂貶？如果假設個個45分都要入同一科就可能會有影響。在一個考試取滿分，只代表在這階段成果，45分入唔到心儀大學學科亦有聽過，真的無須咁認真。或者我孩子不是狀元，亦從無以神科為目標，感覺好平常心。
如果日後你孩子考到45分，人地唔会問你嗰屆有幾多個45分才認為孩子叻唔叻啩

PIS 定位是為 local students 提供 dse以外課程，目標客户群同 IS 有分別
