Dear all, my boy is P.5 and studying in local school currently, he's strong in both English and Chinese. I am seriously considering to apply for international school as I wish he could learn in a more open and creative environment, instead of "spoon-fed" and focus on "memorizing".
I am looking for a school that has a loving and caring culture, built on Christianity values. As i live in Hunghom, it would be best that the school is not too far away. Also i prefer they teach traditional Chinese but not simplified Chinese.

If any of your kids are studying in IS, your advice and recommendation would be much appreciated, thank you!

Esf -RC , Chinese is very difficult.

你先check下 IS 申請入學時間，例如ESF (包括RC), 今年8月入學 year 7 (即 LS p6) 去年9月已截止，而家申請会入 wait list 。

Understand, if my boy completes P6 in local school and study Year 8 in international school, would it be very difficult to adapt? thanks!

It depends on your son's English level. If his English is good enough, it would not be difficult. But he still needs to put more time than other students in study, especially in the science related subjects and English writing.
