My daughter was applying reception so she has to go in with the teacher by herself only. She said the teacher played the toys with her and asked her to do some drawing.
But for nursery interview, one parent can go with the kid.

We applied for reception too so not sure about nursery. We had zoom interview and the teacher talked to my son about different things e.g. his name, his toys, numbers and letters etc..
