Does anyone know if they have a lot of children on the waitlist for CIS reception? Thanks!

Chance is there, they do give out straight rejects, at least not everyone gets “waiting”. Good luck.

Cis waitlist is a real waitlist, not a polite way of a rejection. There are only a few on the list. They usually release the 2nd round offer within two weeks. Good luck!

My child can speak Mandarin but not native level. English is native.

Is yours a boy or a girl? I know a boy will probably release the spot so they should call back a boy with similar profile on the waiting list soon.

Yes I know the first call waiting was on 24th Apr, but wonder when the next round is given there is a second batch of offering in early May

Sorry I thought you were referring to reception. Which year have you applied?
I am referring to reception admission indeed. The assessment was divided into two batches due to the covid disruption, and the second batch of offering was made in early May, hence I’m speculating the second round of call waiting. Thanks

I hear the reception orientation is this Friday so probably all offers have been accepted
