I read from the forum the school bus service fee varies from different terms . We live in Taiwai, the bus fee is in the most expensive range (emoji)

I can only answer question 2. Students from Anfield primary have a priority for ICHK secondary. They are the second tier priority applicants (behind graduates of ICHK HLY, JIS and Kingston, same as siblings). Not through train but can usually get a seat.

May I know if their eng standard is good? I got an offer too and want to accept. I prefer international stream and hope this is at least a stepping stone to other international school.

Because I have a smaller one at home and I have only 1 helper to take care of the babies. Besides, I asked the school teacher what's the difference between full day and half day, she told me the full day has lunch time, nap time, and extra phonics class in the afternoon. i rather put them in school to play with other kids and learn extra stuff than staying at home doing nothing.

Although Anfield is a private school, it has no difference with other international schools. Staff and students speak good English. Quite a lot of international students. It has very good reputation among Hong Kong international schools (even though Harrow teachers visited Anfield to learn before they started pre-school education). Some years ago, ESF liked to take Anfield kids because they are very well-disciplined and their English level is guaranteed. It also has 30-min Mandarin class every day. Chinese teachers are very good and kids love to learn Chinese and Chinese culture. Most importantly, Anfield is a caring school. Teachers, staff and even aunties (aunties speak good English as well) are very nice. Kids like to go to school every day.

Anfield provides good preparation for international schools. Apart from Anfield Primary, a good number of kids got into ESF, Harrow, AISHK, FIS (according to the Yearbook last year).

Hows the lunch arrangement for you? Since no lunch provided by the school. Need to ask helper to bring lunch? I want to know too!

I will pack simple lunch such as sandwich or rice/ pasta in thermos. I think it is a gd training for them to eat with other kids together. Although we still spoon feed her at the moment, it will be a gd chance for her to learn from others.

如果不是target Vic 小學，或其他bilingual 小學，Anfield 會好D，英文好D，跟本是國際學校，冇功課，本身課程及phonics 都教得好，去考大部分English heavy 的IS沒有問題。

I was thinking to use thermos too. Should be ok for 3-4 hrs.

But any teacher will assist in eating? And... hows the sleep session in the pm? Any details of the arrangement?

Currently in Toddler class with Anfield. Will plan to send him straight to its playgroup then K1 class if things work out fine.

Next is to consider full day or half day class, for which lunch arrangement will be my concern. And if school bus be necessary.

I am not so sure about the detail of eating and napping arrangement, need to ask the school further. But the teacher told me they will have extra phonics time in the afternoon.

For the school bus, if you live nearby( in a walk-able distance) i think it is not necessarily to use the school bus service. But we live in Taiwai, we have to take the school bus. We figured out taxi doesn't work for our case.

Taxi will cause lots of uncertainties while we only depend on helper to take her to school and pick her up .

Im thinking if 保姆車 also works?

We live in the same district as Anfield’s but think, if no school bus, need to take bus then walk for 10 mins from Prince Edward road.

School bus is too expensive and seems no other method.

Yes, taxi not reliable esp in rainy season!

I see many mums here are concerned about school bus to/from Anfield. We can gather a few interested ones and create a post to ask. I think no harm.
