想為小兒轉校報名入讀ICHK HLY, 看完學校網頁仍有疑問, 但似乎學校正放暑假, 沒有人回覆電話, 希望能向大家請教。
1. 大仔09年底出生, 9月升P3(傳統本地小學), 如報ICHK, 應該是Grade 3/ Grade 4? 網頁說12月31日前9歲應該是Grade 5 (!?)

2. 細仔11年細B, 9月升P2, 12月31日前7歲, 應該apply Grade 2 / Grade 3?

如跟網頁指示, 佢地將分別申請Grade 5/ Grade 3, 但我無意為佢地跳級, 亦唔想佢地相隔年級同而家唔同 (而家係相隔一級)。我應該apply哪個Grade?

另外, 亦想請教有曾報讀及轉校到ICHK的家長, 校方收到申請後的整個流程會係點? 如幾時會通知interview? 謝謝!

Ichk hly 未必立刻有位，你只需要報名，學校便會按年龄看合適的年級有冇位，再安排assessment.

2 classes per year group. About 25 students in each class.

ICHK HLY will begin the next school term on 23/8 if you need to call the office. The staffs are very friendly and they will be happy to give you a school tour and explain their education philosophy. Highly recommend a tour for you to get a good sense of whether the school is a good match for your kids.

P3 in local school in equivalent to Year 4 in ICHK. Again, the staffs can clarify what year groups to apply for your sons.

Once application is submitted, they will call you for interview when there's an opening, so it all depends on the turnover rate.

我囝同學wait咗3年暑期前先話有個叫佢interview跟住收咗，我建議你apply咗先，唔好諗咁多，其實好多都要waiting!

Thanks for advice! 已apply, 9月會去school tour, 要等3年真係比想像中耐啊！請問你囝同學係幾時入學及幾年級？(如不便公開，可以PM我嗎？)Thanks

入去讀Year 4，所以咪wait咗3年。

即佢由year 1申請，等到year 4入學？真係好漫長
