all esf foundations, RC, DC send email on the same day.

My son got the offer from QBS. We are not from ESF Kinder, No Siblings, No Priority and we are on the reserve list as well.

HK island is really far less competitive than Kln and NT

Yes very lucky coz qbs has very limited seat. I think 最少位in HK Island

We got the interview on the reserve list. We are unexpected to get the year one offer.

yes, it would happen in HK island due to fewer esf kinders competing for the year 1 places.
In kln and NT, even those who pass the interview but on wait list, they still need to wait.

We got the interview on the reserve list. We are unexpected to get the year one offer.
I think the question from the enquirer was whether you got a seat already or got a chance to interview while you are on reserved list.

Seeing a lot of xx vs xx posts around this year, I think the waiting list chance for RC, FIS etc will be quite high.

the y1 places are not evenly distributed in each district. Those in.kln and NT esf kinders need to compete for limited places. Quite of no. of them need to wait even they have passed the interview.
While, the HK island esf kinders could have higher rate of securing a place in the first round. Even the non esf kinders could already get a place in the HK island esf primary school in the first round.

Also in HKI, there are so many other well established IS to choose from, like FIS, SIS, KCIS, HKIS, CIS, GSIS, kellet etc, even for the expats, ESF may not be their only first choice.

原來reserved list 係for esf kinder 的小朋友, waiting list 係for 其他applicants

After accepting the kids from Hillside, there were still plenty of kids from other kinders without priority but were interviewed and admitted in the first round.
However, as the number of applicant exceeds places available in each year, there must be some less fortunate ones who have to wait for a spot.

其中$22,000 是第一個月和最尾一個月的學費

应該吾系, 我地系 outsider, 上年有得 in but on reserve list, 我估 reserve list 系有得 in 但 even successful you still have to wait, but you are ahead of all waiting list as waiting list are those who didn't have a chance for interview, I guess so but not sure
