Has anyone got the offer for G2 2018-2019, my kid got the waiting, suppose the chance would be quite weak to get a seat?

The lower the year, the smaller the chance. The higher the year (G4/G5 and above), the better the chance. Turnover is very small in lower years.

Last year, there were six places for grade 1. Not sure about grade 2.

It all depends on the number of leavers. As far as I know, the places available are from leavers.

So do you think the chance is high for applying G1 if the applicant has siblings priority?

G2 should be 5 plus new leavers. As in grade 1, 24 kids in each class (5 classes). In G2, 25 kids with 5 classes.

The school confirms that there are only 120 spaces for grade 1 and 2 respectively. The figures in the sheet was outdated. No offer can be given until the students give up paying deposit for next school year, that’s by end of March.

My friend is on waiting list too, g2= local school p1 ?? My friend’s son is in local p1 now, for next academic year, should he be g3 ?

My gal is born in Oct, so will be big b in cdnis. She is p2 at local school now. Will be g2 in cdnis in coming year.

Why do you want your girl to change from local school to IS? She’s in P2 now and why won’t she be in G3 next year?

I have explained she is born in Oct so for school cut off 31.8 she will be in G2. She is 7 now and turn to 8 in Oct.

I have a elder in IS so I apply for IS.

No. In fact, everyone applying G2 were put on waitlist ( If pass) until the school confirms the number of leavers ( parents shall pay deposit to secure the place for next year by end of March). So I think I have been waiting for a month’s time after the school has sort out the number of leavers

I know for G1 (2019-2020), at least 2 Seats available, cos I know 2 are leaving after Prep

With respect to age of the students, CDNIS Grade is the same as local schools. I.e. G1 = 6 years old, G2 = 7 years old and etc. (at the beginning of the school year).
