ISF kinder still need to apply for ISF foundation year and go through assessment(kind of school visit by FY), in the past there were students not being accepted, though the acceptance rate is still high probably 95%. Other school like ICS also need assessment and I also heard someone not being promoted.

The host is asking a through train school from kindergarten to secondary all the way without going through any assessment or application. RC and VSA won’t fit.

The advantage of getting into a real through train school at kinder is one can switch back to chinese at home early since you don’t need to worry about passing the primary assessment anymore. If you wait until getting into primary some kids may not be willing to speak Chinese anymore.

That's true. After putting my boy in a through train IS kinder, I switch to Chinese most of the time at home. He is now speaking more Chinese than before.
