My son is studying nursery class in Anfield, and I am thinking about his primary studies recently. My initial plan is to put him straight to Anfield primary, but they only accept 50 students each year. Anfield kinder do have priority for interview but not guarantee a seat, so that's why I am thinking about more options. One of my plan is to apply for Kln Junior, and I notice there is always difficult to get in with the reasons of its popularity as well as priority also given to existing Esf kinder. Could I apply earlier like this year for my son entering Kln junior in 2020? Or any other suggestions?

買NR或apply to newer IS

You cannot apply early.

Without any sort of priority (NR, sibling or ESF kindergarten ), you would not even have a chance for interview.
For 2017/8 entry, the non-priority list were only offered for interview in Aug 2017.
For this year application (2018/19), they were not able to offer interview to all with any sort of priority and moved at least 31 Esf kindergarten applicants to other Esf schools. There is another post about this. It would be similar to last year, the non-priority list may only be interviewed after school starts and it also depending on your random #.

KJS is famous and many want to enter with priorities. It can be seen while over 100 no. of ESF kindergarten students were referred to other ESF school is for Year 1.

So, how long do you think for a sibling waiting for Year 3 or Year 4 admission interview ?

想請教如果而家yr2先開始wait. Wait list有90人，咁有冇可能yr4或之前有得見又有位？
