My daughter is in cabs. She loves it and I like the school too. All the teachers are nice, the principal is nice, the only Turing is that they put very little emphasis on Chinese. Overall highly recommend

Was your child from abacus kinder? Can CWBS admit all (or most) of the kids fromabacus kinder?

yes she was at abacus. Almost all abacus kids are admitted to cwbs.

My son is studying Y1 in CWBS. He was student in Abacus. Not all students from Abacus could admit CWBS, but the kids in Abacus would have advantage in the interview.
For the syllabus, I did not compare with other ESF Primary school. But the teachers (1 class teacher, 1-2 EA) know the kids well, including their learning progress, personality. And, the teachers are working very hard in academic instead of just playing with the kids.

Is it usually 30 kids a class? Do you think teachers can manage well?

The teacher ( including the EA) could manage the class so far. The parent volunteers would help to teach the kids to write & read also. So far the kids were disciplined ~

For the home learning, the teachers (including the Chinese teacher) will send the e-mail or notice to the parents what we should do with the kids during weekend. The kid needs to read one book daily at least to complete the home reading challenge. Moreover, there is home assessment & phonic reading too.

The Chinese class ~~ the school will arrange the kids to different classes with different level after Term 1 in order to let the kid follow their learning path.

Compared with KJS, BH or SJ, the no. of applicant of CWBS is usually the least. Coz you need to hand in your address proof when enrollment, you could only apply one school based on your given address.

I think it's already higher than Kjs and SJS
