By email and later by post. I got the offer after a day. Usually is from couple days to couple weeks.

I'm still waiting for small world. Haven't got an offer. But I got an offer from KCIS so I paid already.

I love small world have caring teachers and kcis have relatively better Chinese program!

i also got pm offer, therefore, I am thinking, but most likely I will not take the offer as my target is esf and ica instead.
have anyone heard kornhill international, is it good?

You can tell Anita and wait for am seat. It may have high chance if you apply earlier.

If your target is ICA, you should probably take small world as they are linked.
KH in't kindergarten only provides kinda section and no linkage with other IS. Most of the student there is Japanese and they usually quit at K2 then move to Japan In't school.

nope. we got the interview invitation one day before the interview as someone gave up their interview spot. didn't expect to get an interview that early given our position on the waitlist

It was by email first (dec 15) then followed by letter. We had five days to decide and pay the deposit.

Does anyone know what the criteria/ basis is for the school to choose their students? I heard of kids who "perform" well during the interview but did not get an offer. I have also heard of kids who did not respond to anything the teacher asked but got offer.

aside from LUCK, i am wondering if it has to do with gender ratio (number of boys vs girls) and local vs foreigner ratio (i think international schools are required to have at least 70% of foreign passport holders... something like that?)?

anyone any idea?

the 70% percent requirements are those schools (mostly new schools) who r subsidised by the government e.g. got a cheap land/campus from government to build their campus, the education bureau will impose the conditions like that. e.g. Malvern and NAIS. For school that owns their own land/campus, they dont have this restrictions. e.g. stamford
