Anyone knows if they offer school bus service? For those who lives in downtown, how are you going to take your lil one school?

Principal of ESF TC advised that they secured their bus company, they will share the residences of enrolled families this week. As they continue to add families through admissions play visits so it may take over a month for bus company to know what the routes will be.

I was checking the Esf school bus provider which I found the school bus are deal directly with parents. In such case parents could approach the school bus provider, for example Tsing Yi campus one, and discuss with them to operate a route to Tung Chung from downtown? Anyone interested?

Got a reply from Betty. Seems there is only school bus to Tsing Yi.
I'm living quite far away from TC, anyone interested to set up a private route? We may set up a Whatsapp or Wechat group to discuss.It's quite urgent, since we need to confirm the school on Monday.

So far I received 5 parents pm me have interests in private route from downtown to TC campus. For those who has interests, pls also indicate the district and AM or PM class if you haven't, then let's try to work something out.

I just called the school bus provider of Tsing Yi. I have shared with her we have 7 families request school bus service. The owner told me Esf TC have in touch with them to discuss the possibility of having school bus service to TC campus. She said Esf school have shown her around 30 odds addresses from downtown which they will consider to operate a route.
So next step, school should send us email to apply for school bus. So please apply it and make it happen. If not, we will need to find another bus provider for a small private route.

Just to update u all, I received 5 x Kowloon east, 2 x HK island, 4 x NT 's parents pm me. I think there is a high demand on school bus service. Or we can write to school later for the request.

I checked w bus serv provider, it most likely has pickup point at kln tong for those going to TC campus, the travel time is talking about 1hr 15mins between kln tong and tung chung

It may not worth taking school bus. As from kln tong to tc by mtr, it takes around 37mins. I prefer to let my helper to send and recive my daughter to school.

I don't exactly know the transport arrangement from MTR station to The Visonary, we visited there before, it's 5mins drive from MTR station. So, let's see. As the school bus service is not likely to provide service from door to door, it looks scary that it take 1hr 15mins from kln tong to tc, i need to add on top another 20-25mins from my residence to kln tong, as we not living close to mtr station.

Tc school would provide shuttle from tc mtr to the school, also arrange bus service between TY and TC.

I think some of you did talk to the bus provider Mrs. Wong. I talk to her on last Friday, she said the most possible route will be Kowloon West (i.e. Kln Station -> Olympic -> Mei Foo -> TY -> School.) The whole journey will take more than 1 hour. Including the time for picking my son from HKG Island to Kln Station, the total travelling time might be more than 1.5 hour.
After discussing with my wife, we think it is totally unfair to a kid at 3 fooling on the road 3-4 hours everyday.
We know TC is a very good chance for him to get into ESF schools, but it's really to harsh for every people in the family. We will surrender the offer tomorrow.

None of them were received. But I just attend to their Briefing at TY today and the admin staff told me, I will received the packing and email before end of next week.

What about the play visit, it was taken place today as well? We received email notification 2 days after the play visit, when you received the contract, you will know AM/PM session. We are one of the TC K2 families too, PM session.

We don't need to attend to any play visit as my child was on TY waitlist since last year and transferred the app to TC

Some update everyone:
I wrote to the principal earlier to ask about school bus arrangement. She said they are currently securing the number of students, and will have another larger scale of play visit in mid May, hence the number of students will be more solid.
She asked me pls be patient and wait for their information about school bus arrangement but it won't be available until June.

I gave a vote on ESF TC's FB for school bus routing from Kowloon East to TC, I've put a note that Kowloon East includes San Po Kong/Choi Hung/Kowloon Bay/Kwun Tong, there are 3 votes in total. This morning, I was told that this routing would take more than one hour.

In that case, will you be kind enough to contact your son's existing school bus provider if they are interested to operate a private routing from The Latitude to TC? We don't mind to get on the bus there though we are living more near to Shun Lee.

You're right..Actually I'm still thinking whether I should apply for TY or Mid Level kindergarten one for my kid, but it really far away from my place to school. Is it worth for my little boy to spend such a long time in travelling only?

Hi CleverGG, the teachers didn't talk to us at all, they just observe how the kids are playing. My boy just play with the toys for the whole session. I don't really know what they are looking for.

If they offer you for a second visit, I think you will have a high chance of getting offer as well. Good luck and hope we can be classmates later.

Teachers just walk around and do assessment, they seldom talk with parents and kids, though one of them came to ask my daughter few simple questions about the toy she was playing. Suggest daddy/mammy whoever used to play more with the kid to attend the play visit. Try as much as you can to interact with your kid when playing. And don't stay too long on one table/section, try to lead your kid to explore 2 or 3 sections, (remember you just have approx. 20mins). Or you may ask your kid to choose a book from book shelf, you ask questions that you think your kid would be confident to answer you, e.g. what you see on the picture? Cats. How many cats are there? Two. Which one is big? Let you kid point to you. What are the cats doing?.... I did this during the last 5mins, though the story not yet finish, I instructed my daughter to put it back to the book shelf, and she did what I told, guess I got some points here.

We have contacted another school bus company who is interested to run a minor route from hung shui kui > SIU hong Tuen Mun > v city > goldcoast > Shum TSENG > MA wan > tsing yi or Tung chung MTR > Tc esf

He said he needs at least 10 ppl to make the route happen. Pls pm me for those who may be interested in.

As we are at the stage of gathering enough kids to open a private route with door to door service, we still have no idea about the district that the bus will cover. In order to mininize the no. of stops (that is to mininize the travel time), we target Kln East and Kln Tong for now. At present we got 4 kids from Kln East and Kln Tong, all are PM classes. If you feel interest to join, please PM me your pick up/drop off address, thanks.

Now, we are able to confirm 6 kids from PM session who are living in Kln East and Kln Tong. As agreed with school bus company, the private route can be arranged for 7 kids with monthly fee $3000. 唔好意思呀, 這是上年的事了, 我小朋友已經K2, 再過幾個月便離開此校.

其實學校有提供校車, 我們好彩臨開學前一星期confirm校車肯走我家.

所以見意大家, 若然學校提供的校車沒有你要的路線也照填所需上落車地點, 校車公司會盡量安排, 不過有心理準備,車費較貴.

自組車很難, 因為成本貴, 冇車公司肯接, 除非能集結到10個以上同區同學.
