請問我們沒宗教但CAIS 多BIBLE讀嗎？BIBLE有測驗的嗎？個女好懶又不主動，如果選擇IB（RCHK）會不會讀不上？

我仔讀RC, IB課程在小學階段跟其他課程其實分別不大，都是教授語文、數學、Project oriented, 再加音樂美術體育。

一般孩子在小學階段都是蠻開心，沒有壓力。有一點留意到就是，這學校對社會民主和環保意識、愛護動物意識好強，常常有學生或老師組織活動帶領其他同學參與。

我仔最近另一個comment是，RC較多元化，也讓學生有不同形式去表達自己。(他參觀了其他PYP exhibition 後的感言）

你仔仔幾大？識咁比comments分析力好高! 我朋友有類似的意見，佢細仔內向，學習很被動，入了RC之後变得開朗，主動學習，又認真又積極，一年好过一年。又presentable,又好用心機，返學又開心。佢話兩個仔，有得比較，大讚RC.能提高學習動力及興趣。我覺得最神奇的地方係學校又令學生返學開心，但學術成績又保持得好。

RC口碑確是很好。硬件軟件都好，學校發展得很成熟，學術水平高，仲保得住d中文，課程設計得好好,能激發小朋友的學習。近年很難考入，过到assessment,收得你我估你小朋友質素相當高，只是你教佢的方法可能唔fit佢學習模式，所以你先覺得佢懶。佢在一間教得好的IB學校，can fly very high!

是的，去了其他ESF小學覌摩。

RC硬件算不上好，只是合理水平吧。IT的infrastructure則不錯，阿仔說好過KJS新校。

老師呢，則人夾人緣吧。今年PYP exhibition加設mentor，全校老師包括校長都會是兩至四位Y6學生的導師，每星期指導一節，與他們討論選定題目後的發展；好似大學生做paper咁。

IB 應該就是像大學一樣，做好多PROJECT，提早習慣應該幾好，不過朋友說從不知孩子在學緊什麼，如果小朋友不是自動波會好苦下。

我諗IB 比 Alberta Canada 的 curriculum 出路多些?

我沒有這個比較，孩子願意讀，讀什麼課程都有出路。在加拿大的朋友對IB趨之若騖，因為好像吃香點。

讀IB的學生有優勢吧，他們看東西是比較深入，連PE考試都要寫文（聽人講）。

我同意 radiomama ，小朋友肯讀就好，條條大路通羅馬。
在 RCHK ，小朋友自小學就開始有很多寫作機會，到 year 7 基本上是每科都要寫 essay ，對， PE ，visual arts 和 math 都要寫。
IBDP 各科對學生文筆要求很高，或許因此，小學課程也需要配合。
小女是 RCHK 舊生，現在已是大學生，她覺得 IB 的鍛鍊，對她大學課程十分有用，同學之中，也是 IB 生表現較突出。

Visited CAIS Open House yesterday, according to a grade 12 student, 1/4 of their graduates stayed in HK for their universities after the graduate from the school. While the rest of the others went to universities in UK, Canada, US and Australia. AP is one of the worldwide recognized public exam other than IB and IGCSE, so I am not too worry about it (as my girl is now in CAIS).

To clear your worries, if u go to the website of HKU School of Medicines, u will find they listed clearly the entry requirement if u apply with result of IBDP, IGCSE and AP, so it shows that AP is also widely recognized.

Thanks for your input. How many graduates at CAIS then? Which subjects they take for those who study in universities in HK. I read here on EK that some department like Medicine not favor AP students. but I don't know how true it is. May I know how are the AP results in general in CAIS? Thanks!

i asked the same question to the grade 12 student on that day, they told me most went to business and engineering, with a few went to dentistry and medicine. however, i have got no data about number of graduates last year in CAIS.

School photo of the 2014 graduation says 51 students graduated, unless there were students absent for the ceremony.
