Applied for year 1 last year, but no chance to interview. Just received letter to interview. Is it just a procedure or I've got high chance now? Thanks a lot

It is a genuine chance, go for it.
With the ever increasing number of applicants to international schools, why would they cause extra work for themselves by fooling around with applicants they have no intention to admit? They don't have the time for it :)

They will only ask you for interview when theres vacancy. Its solid chance. Good Luck!

Normally an offer could be given quickly after the interview. If the lucky family do not make payment in 3 days, the seat will be given to another child.
So u are now in waiting list and the chance is not high.
Get prepared to the worst scenario.

Oh things have been changed, the principal said parents will be informed on Friday(yesterday) the earliest or early next week.

Only three kids were in the interview room. So immediately after the interview, the Principal came out with the kids and then told me that my daughter was accepted.

My kid applied for Y1 at QBS and she was offered a place this month. Actually all 5 kids took part in the interview got accepted. Wish you good luck.

i think it varies from school to school within ESF, i know BHS didn't offer to all candidates who attended interviews this year.
