My gal transfer from local to KCIS when she's 7 (year 2 in local). The admission is a nice chat (around 15 mins) with vice-principal. She was happy and said it's fun. The school didn't even ask for the transcript from her old school...
I guess the spot in school and where are you in the waiting list is actually the most difficult part (at least for us).

好耐之前，聽過家長講，佢小朋友好細個入Kcis，吾係插班，佢話係排隊，小朋友幾個月大就申請，排好耐，但interview就相對愉快，吾會特別挑剔，是否真是這樣？

視乎邊間同埋點解要轉入
程度上未必難，但心理壓力同適應力要衡量一下

Just need to get used to speaking English all the time. If conversational English is ok, then he/she should be fine. The academics of international school should be a bit easier than HK local schools.

樓主小朋友有無體藝或其他才能，看報紙RC有全費scholarship招中學生，1月28日有個scholarship, information, evening，有興趣不妨去聽吓。

我仔係插班kcis的，聽番阿仔講，我覺得吾挑剔，最緊要主動講英文就ok, 其實小朋友既壓力，大都是來自父母期望考到所至。
