大把人讀完local school直接出國都適應到；係香港轉校有幾難?如果我係你；我會問下自己點解要轉；第日條路想點行；

雖然話DP讀兩年，但第二年一開始已要用predicted grade報大學，所以第一年都要衝。DP有些科目如Math考knowledge部分佔8成，local school 根基應該無問題，語文能力強的學生又會容易適應D，因DP有大量寫作。你選擇這個階段轉應有你的原因吧。

In general international schools having IGCSE exmain , like GSIS, FIS , ESF, Kellete in year 11, they would accept students either in year 10 or year 12. not often in year 11. If your child have passed the school assessment (Eng/Math/Science), he or she would do fine in school. No need worry.

我囡都係今年將會轉IS, 入Grade 10, local 轉讀IB, 考完IB之後會去外國讀書。想轉係因為想去外國, 唔想考DSE, 阿囡中文唔得!

但IB也要考中文啊，你女兒是考中文B還是其他語言？

暫時還未知讀中文A 或B, 開學前學校中文部會再做一次 assessment, 暫時default中文B, level 5。請問中文A和中文B有甚麼分別?

A is first language. B is second language. For details you better check with your school as I am afraid giving wrong info to you. Do you mind telling which school your girl is going to?

If your school follows British curriculum, Year 11 should be the year to take IGCSE exams. Will your kid do the exam then?

Year 12 and Year 13 will be doing IB Diploma in most of the IS in HK.

想轉的原因，都是同vf_mom 一樣，想去外國，同吾想考DSE。
