代西人朋友問, 混血女兒今年ESF K2 (及local 學校下午K2), 明年ESF將升 P1. 但心願是她學中文, 所以想試試運氣參加小一派位入英文小學.

請問讀緊ESF P1 同時也可參加後一年的派位嗎?

可以。識有人咁做過，仲派到間非常好嘅女津小。不過咁，你朋友想個女學好中文，但想派到英文小學？好似有啲矛盾？

is it real? I thought the central primary allocation only applicable to those kids not in Primary school.
IS Primary school is not considering as a primary school?

I'm not offensive, just want to know it clearly since my son probably fall into the same category next year.

如果屋企中文ba c k up吾夠（講中文果個家長吾得閒教，在家吾講吾睇書），即使抽到間好的小學，頂吾到幾個月，就返番去IS。

I think Central Allocation is for all children of the appropriate age. Since IS accept kids 1 year younger than LS, their P1 kids are of the same age as LS K3. It shouldn't be a problem for them to join Central Allocation.
