Is there any JIS parents here? Want some advice from you, or from people who have relevant information.

JIS is one of the precious IB through train IS in HK. But if you are not their KG students, you seem to have zero chance to join the school in year/grade 1.

Is that the truth?

Yes. If u are not their KG student, you almost no chance to join the school in G1. I have applied last year & the admission lady told me only one class in G 1 & almost 100% student from KG.

What a pity! I called once, the lady said they have about 5 vacancies every year. However they also have a long waiting list. I guess they only have one class in each grade, dont they?

May I know where your child studies now? I would like to hear more stories and exp fr other parents. Thanks!!!!

yes, it is true because i tried few months ago, just no vacancy for outsider at all. But i did apply late as well, so if you apply earlier, there might be a slightly higher chance.

Does JIS have KG course? Is in Taipo campus? Can anyone tell me more about? Because I am interesting in JIS KG for my daughter.

They have reception class only.

Thank you for your confirmation. I checked their website, and JIS connect with ICHK. ICHK has KG for Kids from 3 years old kids.

it is only that JIS students can go to ICHK （secondary section）after primary school, but there are no connection between JIS and ICHK's kindergarten and primary school. The kindy section you mentioned is ICHK-Hong Lok Yuen, which has nothing to do with JIS.
